Great location to enjoy Empire as well as a home base for the area. We enjoyed walking to get coffee in the morning and easy access to the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail for us to run and cycle. Communication from the host was excellent before and during our stay.

Joshua, a walkable morning coffee run followed by easy trail access for cycling and running is a hard combination to beat as a base for the area. Glad the communication made the logistics smooth too. Hope the trails bring you back.

The home was very well appointed, and clean. We,ve stayed in The Salisbury home several times now and look forward to a return next summer and evening strolles down to the beach to watch the sunsets.

The Salisbury House was the perfect place to stay for my husband and I while we were exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes. The house was spotless and provided all the comforts and supplies needed for us to settle in during our stay. We appreciated being within walking distance to everything in Empire especially the sunsets from the beach. The hosts were quickly responsive to all our communications. We hope to come back and stay again.

The house is very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and a nice table to gather around too. Great location to visit the cute shops on Front street or walk over to Lake Michigan beach for the BEAUTIFUL sunsets!!

Great, clean spot for a short stay. Right down the street from the cute, local restaurant and gas stations. Just minutes away from the Sleeping Bear Dune climb/ lookout.

Loved our vacay

The house was perfect for my family of six. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and a central location to visit multiple beaches, towns, and hikes. We enjoyed kayaking and splurged at Blu (Glen Arbor), as we spent our 25th wedding that week. We all enjoyed our vacation.

It was close to the Empire beach and Sleeping Bear sites. The home was clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. The weather was cool so we enjoyed the fireplace. Very family friendly. Check in and out was great. Empire is a nice town. We would definitely come back to this location. One minor thing that could be improved — towels. Kitchen could use more and bath towels are getting worn.

Wonderful experience

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Salisbury House! It was clean, had everything we needed and was exactly as advertised. This has not always been the case with some of our prior rentals, so we very much appreciated it this time. I would highly recommend the property to everyone looking to stay in the area and would not hesitate to stay again.

Nice location, in walking distance to beach for sunsets, close driving to many other fun experiences in area. Big master bathroom but shower stall small. Good kitchen size with all utensils/appliances/cookware needed.
