About this property

The house is located 400m from the beach and enjoys magnificent views of the ocean. Behind the house is a huge 100m2 terrace with a day-long sun exposure.

It is a neo-Basque style house from the 50s, very bright and comfortable, surrounded by a fenced garden which is the ideal house for holidays with family or friends: its 5 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms water can comfortably accommodate up to 11 people.

A large living-dining room and a modern and equipped kitchen open onto the balcony at the front to enjoy the view of the ocean and onto the large private terrace at the back equipped with a ping-pong table and a garden furniture. There is one bedroom upstairs and 4 bedrooms on the ground floor. The garden is surrounded by hedges with fruit trees.

Hendaye-Plage is a great holiday destination with a lot of activities (sailing, surfing, diving, skating, hiking, cycling, tennis etc).
In Hendaye-Plage and from the house, you can go anywhere by foot or bike: beach is 6mn walking distance, surf lessons are 10mns away walking distance, sailing club is 8mn away by bike, tennis courts 4mns and petanque turf is 2mn …
The railway station Les Deux Jumeaux to go St Jean de Luz (14mn ride) or other local coastal cities is 8mn walking distance. You can also take the shuttle boat from the marina to go to Spain with a 10mn bike ride ….

La maison est parfaitement situé pour profiter d’Hendaye. L’accueil s’est très bien déroulé, et nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette belle et grande maison. Nous avons regretté deux choses: Le jardin n’était pas entretenu Il manque un barbecue ou une plancha.

Nous avons décidé de passer quelques jours en famille dans le sud ouest! Très jolie découverte de la région! La maison était idéalement placée, très bien agencée (toutes les chambres ont une salle de bain) et très bien équipée (cuisine fournie + buanderie). On recommande la maison et en espérant y retourner!

Ideal gelegen, Nahe Strand. Aussenterrasse mit grosser Auswahl and Gartenmöbeln und Sitzgelegenheiten. Untergeschoss mit 4 Schlafzimmern eher feucht. Schade, dass wir nach einem langen Anreisetag zuerst alle Betten selber beziehen mussten.

Séjour magnifique et dépaysant

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons chaudement cette adresse. On peut tout faire à pied ou à vélo (la plage est à 5 mn à pied). L'annonce devrait davantage mettre en valeur les qualité de la maison. Très pratique pour 10 personnes; on a de l'espace. Il y a un rez-de-chaussée avec 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain et une pièce pour entreposer les vélos la nuit (la journée les laisser dans le petit jardin de devant) et une machine à laver. Une des chambres du rez-de-chaussée est très spacieuse avec une très grande de bain. Au rez-de-jardin (qui, vu du jardin, correspond à un premier étage) il y a un beau séjour, une salle à manger, un autre salon (où l'on peut s'isoler pour lire), une chambre, une salle de bain, une cuisine bien équipée donnant sur une très grande terrasse arrière (avec une table de ping-pong). Le séjour s'ouvre sur un balcon-terrasse assez grand pour déjeuner, prendre l'apéro; vue sur la mer, le phare, et une partie de la ville. Magnifique Seul petit bémol, la table sur le balcon-terrasse est trop petite quand on est 10, la cafetière est trop petite, la table de la terrasse arrière aussi (mais il y a une table en bois que l'on peut ajouter, seulement il faut la rentrer le soir pour ne pas l'abîmer avec la rosée, donc des manœuvres et en plus elle est assez lourde) et il faudrait davantage de mobilier de jardin (un autre canapé serait bien venu ainsi que 2 autres fauteuils). Un parasol pour le balcon serait bien. Mais ce sont vraiment des petits bémols, car tout le reste est vraiment très bien. En plus, c'est dans une impasse, donc pas de circulation. C'est calme. Le passage des avions qui se posent ou décollent de Donastian-San-Sebastien sont un régal à voir, un amusement (il n'y a pas de gros porteurs, seulement des moyens et des petits). Les propriétaires laissent des indications sur des choses à faire et à voir (Château Abbadia, notamment), sur les bons commerces. Magali (la responsable) est d'une très grande amabilité. Hendaye est remarquablement bien faite: espace piétons, espace vélo, espace voiture. Très belle promenade à vélo Hendaye-Béhobie et passage en Espagne (Behobia) : que de la piste, pas de voiture. Mais pour aller à vélo jusqu'à Fuentarabia (Hondarribia), peu de pistes côté Espagne, un peu stressant au début. Thalasso Serge Blanco: super. Webcam (site office de tourisme) : super pour voir si on peut aller surfer. Très grande plage
