Owner cancelled 2 days before our stay

Tried contacting the owner couple weeks before arrival and no response. Finally got hold of him two days before our stay and first he denied of any reservation and then tells me property is under construction and not available..TWO DAYS BEFORE and in another county. I ended up getting separate hotel rooms for all of us. Horrible experience with this owner
