Absolutely loved this house. Everything was clean and as advertised. This was one of the best stocked places we have ever stayed. Plenty of stuff for the beach, which was a short walk away. The pool and hot tub were awesome to come back to. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

The Salty Mermaid Cottage exceeded all of our expectations! It's even more beautiful in person, and the host has thought of absolutely everything. My friends and I had the best time and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The host was super responsive and made everything easy, always quick to answer any questions. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place on Tybee Island.

We loved our stay! Perfect for our daughter's senior trip and our family with three young adults. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. It was an easy walk to the beach, and having beach chairs and other essentials provided was a huge bonus. The screened porch quickly became our favorite hangout spot. The kitchen was well stocked for making breakfast each morning, and the host was responsive and shared helpful local tips before our trip. We'd happily stay again.

Our birthday celebration with 6 girlfriends was fantastic at the Salty Mermaid! The cottage was absolutely charming, the decor so special and inviting. We took advantage of all the amenities! Fabulous hot tub, pool and fire pit! We played ping pong and games and truly enjoyed all the comforts of the cottage! Missy the host was a pleasure to work with and we felt her commitment to us for a wonderful experience. We loved everything about the cottage from the awesome front porch where we relaxed in the swinging beds to the back porch with the secret garden vibe and we can't forget to mention the mermaid decor! fantastic! Loved the mermaid wallpaper in the bathrooms. Can't wait to come back

This is probably our 3rd or 4th time staying at Salty Mermaid. We cannot say enough good things about this lovely cottage. Kids enjoyed the pool after hours fighting waves at the beach. Hot tub always a nice touch— even with the evenings reaching a low 85 degrees. Communication is stellar. Always received a reply if there were questions. Can’t wait for our next summer return! The Salty Mermaid was everything as advertised and more! The property is a old tybee style beach house that has been beautifully updated and furnished. Large screened front porch with bed type swings, area for storage and games underneath the house with sand toys, a wagon and even the higher seated chairs were available! There was a great backyard oasis with pool and hot tub. As a Lilly P lover I really liked the use of fabrics thru out the house. The kitchen was very well equiped with delightful retro type appliances that were modern and worked well. Every space was clean so any sand came from us! We utilized the heated pool option because once again the weather was cooler that normal for the first week of October. I did purchase the travel insurance in case we had a mandatory evacuation but thankfully we didn't need! The property owner is very responsive to inquiries but instructions were very clear! If this space meets your group requirements, you can't go wrong with this wonderful house!

Great bachelorette trip

We came here for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! The house was very cute and clean, there was a very quick and easy walk to the beach, and the owner is very easy to get in touch with. We absolutely loved the swing beds on the porch! This is a great place to stay and would definitely come back!!

Amazing cottage
