About the host
Hosted by John and Nancy Freeman
Dr. Freeman has been collecting and restoring historical buildings and artifacts in West Tennessee for 30 years. If you visit the cabin please take some time to see the other unique sites nearby, including a working Linotype machine and a cotton gin from 1910. Dr. Freeman lives in a log house nearby with his wife, Nancy. Their daughter Krista lives in her grandmother's ancestral home on the farm and manages the wedding venue and cabin rentals. She has renovated the cabins with beautiful interiors and landscaping to capture the rustic charm in these historic structures.
Why they chose this property
This property has been in our family for 5 generations, and we just welcomed the first representative of the 6th generation!
What makes this property unique
Green Frog Farm is a settlement of historic structures lovingly restored to evoke West Tennessee pioneer history. There are five 200-year-old bed and breakfast cabins to choose from that include access to the grounds and buildings filled with artifacts of daily life from the early 1900s. Our mission is to preserve history and share it with our guests in a comfortable, beautiful setting.
