The cape is located across the road from Lake. You can launch boat from this property. There is a boat dock. Lots of parking same level as house. Enough room for boat and trailer and several cars, and not on the main road. Located on the west side of Keuka lake just 7 miles north of Hammondsport. Three restaurants on the lake, all within 5 miles of property. Several wineries, a couple of breweries and 2 distilleries within 2 miles. You can see the Lake from most windows in the house. You also have a view of the bluff. Other activities nearby skiing, golfing, museums, gift shops, antique stores, pottery stores, and entertainment. Four restaurants on the lake with boat access. Or boat to Hammondsport to eat, shop or get groceries. There are also boat and jet ski rentals available on the lake. Great fishing on Keuka lake. Very few stairs on this property. Restaurant/Bar across the road. Most Sunday nights they have live entertainment.

We had a wonderful week at the lake! The house was perfect for our needs. Jamie was a great host and super responsive anytime we reached out. The dock was perfect for our group with space for sunning and playing! We were sad to leave and cannot wait for our next trip to Keuka!

Excellent communication and very friendly. House is spacious and clean. Kitchen well stocked. Deck area across the street is nice, and roughly on same level as house. Driveway is off the street which is added bonus. Location great, with wineries and breweries up the hill. Would come back again!Some suggestions…more bathroom towels would be nice, and darker shades for the front bedrooms

Good communication. Clean. No kayaks as stated. No boat lift as ipctured. Kitchen lights did not all work. Craockpot had no turn knob. Waterd down liquid soap in bathrooms. Bad pillows. Picnic table suspect. Basically it was fine, but you really are just paying for view and lake

Kayaks are located on the north side of the dock area. I wished you would have messaged me. We have replaced the kitchen light. It went bad. I do not know when the knob went missing but I believe you can turn it with your hand and it works. I will look into the rest of your review issues. Thank you.

The home was clean and everything was just as listed. Jamie was great to work with. Extremely prompt in helping with anything that I might have needed. I stayed for 5 days with some guys for the fishing and we had more than enough room for our trucks and boat trailers. And what a great bonus to have the private launch and docks that we were able to use. Would definitely stay again.

Great location! The boat launch and dock across the street were a huge benefit. The wooden picnic table is a hazard ( seat broke off when sat down). Bring your own pillows!!

Great stay on beautiful Keuka Lake. Private boat launch was awesome and the dock area was great for hanging out and relaxing. House is across the street but very easy access to the launch. Would stay here again!

Great location.

House was clean and provided everything one would expect. The water front area was fantastic. Was able to dock our large pontoon boat and there was enough room for our two jets skis. Load of parking and Jamie was helpful and very pleasant to deal with. We will go back there again.

Short getaway

The location is awesome if you have a boat.The kids and dog took full advantage of the water access. The home was clean but a bit dated. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Plenty of space

Plenty of space for a family of 9. The owners were great to work with and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There was construction going on which was a little noisy, but that can’t be helped. Overall a great place to stay!

We loved our stay! There were six adults and we had more than enough room. The house is very cozy and clean! We used the firepit every night and grilled on the grill provided. Being able to launch and dock our pontoon boat for the weekend was so convenient. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock in the Adirondack chairs or fishing / boating. Quiet area and such easy access to the water, just right across the road. Host is very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely be back! Highly recommend.

Great location for a final celebration of men to send off one of their own into the realm of marriage. Excellent communication, plenty of space, quick response on question, amble parking, oh - and foosball! 10/10!

Father's Day Weekend

We had a great time getting away with our three girls for a Father's Day Weekend. Communication was excellent and we were very comfortable. We were at first nervous about being across the road, but it turned out to be no problem at all. Not a busy road and the bonus was being able to walk to the restaurant across the street. Quiet & Convenient Cape House

Me and my husband stayed with our pup. The house was very clean and location was very quiet and private. It is next to a restaurant lot that is closed & for sale which in my opinion couldn’t have been better. House has a yard for activities and is near many wineries. Jamie was attentive to any Qs we had! The house was stocked with kitchen supplies/cook ware which is always appreciated. AC units made it very comfortable and dock was perfect for everyday fishing/swimming/lounging. Loved our stay! Only con, bring bug spray!

Our time on Keuka Lake is always so enjoyable. We stayed at this property for a week. The house is comfortable and clean, the kitchen well equipped, very spacious, with comfortable beds, but it does need some updates (more grounded electrical sockets, better and quieter air conditioning units, grill that fully works, more responsive TV set-up).Jamie was super responsive to all my inquiries, but a more thorough detailing of check-in, rules and guidelines, what isn’t working, would have been helpful.We were a little confused regarding the shared deck/dock across the street and were a little uncomfortable using when renters were in the adjacent house, as we were not sure if they were aware we could use. We did not take full advantage.Overall, we had a good stay.

Quaint Keuka Lakehouse - great get-away place

My family and I stayed for a week at this great lakeshore house and really enjoyed our stay. The house is not new but has every amenity we needed, including access to Keuka Lake. We had our pets with us and managing them was simple at this house. We'd never been to the Finger Lakes before and found them to be a great place to get away on the water. We hired a fishing guide and caught a ton of fish, kayaked along the lakeshore, ate out at two great restaurants on the lake and visited the Curtiss Aviation Museum. There were a ton of things to do in the area, Jamie was a great host that was responsive to our questions and needs and, the house was a great location and place to make our home base. We hope to return again soon!

Alot of money for what it was

Clean and comfortable beds. House is updated just enough to make it rentable. Washer and dryer in an old basement which we did not use. Could use newer towels and washcloths and the stove burners do not fit properly so cooking is a real experience. No TV's in any bedrooms. Beautiful dock and boat ramp which we used every day. All in all we had a good stay and weather was great. Just a few updates would be valuable.

A taste of heaven

It was so wonderful to spend a week on Keyuka Lake. There was so much to do. Jamie's place is right across from a nice restaurant, and just miles from the quaint town of Hammondsport. The house accommodated 10 of us without ever feeling crowded. Jamie went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. It was very close to Jake's Boat rentals which also is a convenience store. We enjoyed a day on a pontoon, kayaking and the kids loved swimming off the dock. Wineries are abundant as are breweries and distilleries. We even found the Spooted Duck just above Penn Yan. The offer flights of the most amazing frozen custard. We highly recommend the chocolate jalapeño! This place has it all!

Disappointed

This older, nautical-themed home is solidly built, is tastefully decorated, hardwood floors both downstairs and upstairs and the newly remodeled upstairs full-bath is quite inviting. There are no other rentals adjacent to this house, so noisy neighbors are not a factor, in that regard. However, since the restaurant is across the road, noisy patrons from that establishment can be disturbing, especially if you are prone to turning in early. On a busy weekend, the road noise from cars is also ubiquitous. The beds are comfortable, as is the living room furniture and there is a foosball table, a small library of books, board games and DVD movies for your enjoyment. However, you’ll have to bring your own DVD player, for even though the listing says that there is one in the house, we couldn’t find it.The stove burners are not level which makes cooking a challenge. The coffee filter was full of grounds and MOLD! The supposed gas grill had no gas and the knobs were completely worn of directions. Air conditioning UNITS were so loud you couldn't hear the TV. I will not give this VRBO house even a "good" rating for the cost. STAY ELSEWHERE! Assuming that the owners of this house utilize a property maintenance service, that service is not checking all of the boxes as it prepares the facility for the next vacationers. The owner may want to address sooner than later. All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay, but when it comes to value, we felt that for the price, we were left disappointed.

Nice lakeside retreat

Perfect spot to enjoy keuka lake. Located across the street from the lake, but nice seating area with a private dock on the lake. Private boat launch as well.

This house is a great location. It is located just below the bluff. We are in the center of the lake. Many restaurants, wineries, breweries and distilleries within 3 miles of the house. There is a boat rental and a convenient store, in case you forgot something, with in walking distance. Shopping is just 7 miles from house. You can either drive north to the town of Branchport or south to the town of Hammondsport. We are in the center of Keuka Lake.

This property has a boat launch. Which is great if you own a boat. No stairs to go down to get to the lake.
