The property is charming and rustic in a historic building, but with modern amenities. The property owner was affable. It was a short walk to the downtown area where much of shopping and restaurants were. It's a perfect spot for anyone visiting Angers.

wonderful host and perfect location. Only issue is the 15th century beam that runs through the center of the apartment, which is hazardous to anyone over 175cm! everything else was perfect. warm heat, warm water in shower and perfect appliances to cook meal with.

Emplacement idéal

Agréable de rentrer dans un lieu calme, presque un village avec sa petite place. Le quartier de la Doutre est idéal. Il suffit de traverser La Maine pour rejoindre le centre animé et les monuments.. tout est accessible à pied. Tout petit bémol, le logement est sombre mais frais lors des températures élevées en saison estivale.

We very much appreciated the opportunity to stay in a home on our first trip to Angers. Eric met us at the train station and helped us settle into our space. He was kind and gracious with our poor French language skills, and helped us learn about the city on our way to his home. The room includes a kitchenette and a bath with sink and shower. It is exceptionally clean, comfortable and accommodates sleep--we slept nearly 10 hours our first night there. When our travels bring us to Angers we hope we can return again to Eric's place.

Le studio est joli et bien aménagé, le quartier et le bâtiment sont très calmes. C’est assez proche du château et de la cathédrale à pieds. M. Voisine est disponible et serviable, ce fut un super séjour, je pense revenir bientôt.
