Comfortable chalet (recent renovation), in the heart of a pretty, calm and sunny village, located at the bottom of the Chamonix valley at 1450 meters above sea level, at the foot of the slopes.

Balme ski area: splendid panorama over the valley, numerous slopes with the possibility of reaching the village of Vallorcine.
Domaine de la Vormaine: the largest area in the valley dedicated to beginners.
All ski equipment rental facilities. SKISET franchise.

In summer, hiking trails for all levels, departure for the ʺTour du Mont-Blancʺ, climb to the Albert 1er refuge above the Tour glacier.
Numerous mountain bike routes (cable car equipped for climbing).

Amazing gem right on the mountain

We had a wonderful stay in La Tour. Just being a walk up the hill to get on the gondola was perfect for us. The fireplace was magical and the comfort of the home was perfect for our family of 3. We hope to be back again soon!

Blinking snow around the house, sun, blue sky, mountain view from the living room, long chimney evenings.Ski lift directly behind the house in 200 m walk.Comfortable house for perfect winterholidays.We passed excellent holidays in Le Tour and can absolutely recommend Catherine's house.

An amazing find

We loved our week in Le Tour and in this property. The location was perfect for us, out of the way of Chamonix but great transport links (free train into and out of Chamonix) and in a lovely quiet setting. Some wonderful less-busy walks in the very local area and great to pop into Argentiere for a meal/shopping. The house itself was even better than we expected and how it was put across on the photos. It had everything that we needed, with lots of space and very helpful owner. Thank you for a wonderful week's holiday!

We did not meet Catherine but had excellent contact with her and she answered all of our questions as well as keeping us updated on local conditions. We were also wonderfully supported by her friend Betty who lived nearby.The chalet was large and very comfortable. It was also well equipped to meet the needs of our family group. All of this was very important as, due to exceptional snow levels, we were confined indoors for 3 days of our stay.

Wunderbarer Skiurlaub in Le Tour in einem originellen Chalet

Das charaktervolle Chalet liegt neben dem Haus des berühmten Bergsteigers Michel Croz in Le Tour, einem kleinen Dorf oberhalb von Chamonix. Skiverleih und Skilifte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Haus hat ein heimeliges Ambiente mit einem großen alten Esstisch aus Holz und einen gemütlichen Holzofen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schönste Skiferien ever

Malerisches Dorf, traumhaftes Haus und der Kinderskilift beinahe vor der Haustüre. Was will man mehr? Das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet und der gemütliche Schwedenofen war das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Betty, die Hausverwalterin, war super nett und zuvorkommend. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl!

Amazing House in the Best Location

We stayed there for new year's eve 19/20 for eight days. The house is ski-in ski-out by the best slopes in Chamonix, so location is unbeatable. The house has a well equipped kitchen, and is super comfortable with underfloor heating and a lovely fireplace.

Fantastic stay in beautiful house and marvelous little village in the snow

We spent a week during Christmas and New Year's in Catherine and Laurent's amazing house, in a beautiful little forgotten village in the Chamonix valley, 100 metres from the ski lifts. The house itself was very comfortable for us 8, has been rebuilt with such taste, quality and atmosphere you won't normally find in a rental house. It had everything we needed and much more: beautiful kitchenware, great pans and cutlery, art, a fireplace with plenty of wood for us to use, a bath, .... we absolutely LOVED it. Unfortunately, we haven't met the owners, but they were always at our disposal by telephone and mail and made sure everything went the way we wished. Thank you Catherine and Laurent, for making our stay unforgettable!
