We had a great time in Hill City. Ken was very accommodating and friendly. The property was centrally located, which was great for mealtimes and being able to just walk down the road to get pizza or sit down at a restaurant. The 1800s train stop is right across the street, but the noise wasn't bad at all. It doesn't run super early or late, so it doesn't interfere with sleep at all. We loved walking downtown and visiting the shops. We particularly enjoyed the popcorn/nut shop with the delicious old-fashioned taffy.
The only thing I noticed that was different from the listing is that it said there were two queen and two twin beds upstairs - but in actuality, it's just one queen bed in the upstairs bedroom, two twin beds on the upper landing outside the bedroom, and a little futon (this is in addition to the two bedrooms with queens on the main floor and two twins in the basement). It changed our sleeping arrangements a bit, but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle.
