We stayed over 4th of July weekend. The place was full but no one was ever loud or annoying. The 2/1 cabin we stayed in was very clean, well stocked with untensils , and had a Kurig coffee maker. They even supplied the little coffee cups for it. Again the place was full but we were always able to find dock space either at the lower dock or upper dock. The best part was watching the owner sign karoke on Saturday night. Also they have a full bar and kitchen. All the food was very good and my favorite was the beer battered fish tacos. We will definately be back .
Cottage is right next to the front office and has a view of the river and little beach from the living room window. Sunset was gorgeous! New floors and comfy beds and AC works great. Kitchen had everything that you would need aside from a colander. Keurig coffee machine and they provided coffee which was nice. Salt and pepper and oil too, very nice! Bbq outside door worked well. Open dock to park boat and little beach was perfect for small kids. Overall good place to spend a couple days on the river.

Quaint get away on the river
Enjoyed staying at the house at KoKet resort. The resort is well maintained and the house seems newly remodeled. The one staff member I encountered was very helpful and friendly. Some minor suggestions would be to put check in instructions in homeaway or VRBO website. I had to call at 4pm to find out how to check in. Also having a sheet with the wifi info, and check out instructions within the house would of been helpful, like where to put the key, what needs to be done leave the house (does trash need to be gathered? dishes cleaned? that sort of thing). Also adding a few more amenities such as a dishtowel, and tissues would help. Having some water in the fridge and coffee for the Keurig was very thoughtful though and I appreciated it. Overall it was a great stay, it just seems like there's a few kinks to get out. We enjoyed exploring the area and it was quiet and relaxing. I would recommend it and will probably look at staying again next time I'm in town.

A cottage on the river
Newly renovated, and right on the Sacramento River, this sweet little 2 bedroom cottage was a perfect home base for a weekend exploring the Delta. It was still quiet in early April and the restaurant wasn't open for the season yet, but come summertime, I can see this resort being a charming and lively place to spend time fishing, swimming and relaxing for a few days (or weeks!).
A minor drawback, for those who are sensitive to such things, was the occasional sulphur smell in the tap water, which I expect is a result of the region's agricultural infrastructure... that said, plenty of bottled water was graciously provided for drinking and coffee making.
Our hosts were generous and welcoming, checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and gave us helpful local restaurant and bar recommendations. The cottage is a comfortable 35-40 minute drive from Sacramento, near multiple open space, park/recreation areas, and wildlife preserves, as well as dozens of inland valley wineries. We loved visiting the small adjacent towns in the area, each one unique and rich with history. Unfortunately, we didn't allow ourselves enough time to see everything in two days... but that just gives us a good excuse to come back!
