Breathtaking views of Black Rock, Molokai, and Lanai - Whaler 552 is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite located oceanfront at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. Enjoy year-round sunset views and seasonal humpback whale watching right from your own lanai! Just steps from the world famous sandy Kaanapali Beach, you will love this bright, corner location, abundance of windows and huge wrap around lanai. But as if the location isn't enough - the beautiful finishes and furnishings leave no question that you are in the tropical paradise of Maui. Gorgeous travertine floors, granite counter tops, beautiful koa wood kitchen cabinets and luxurious beds and linens will surround you with both beauty and comfort.
This unit is perfect for two couples traveling together as both bedrooms are outfitted with very comfortable King size beds facing the ocean, custom padded upholstered headboards and luxurious linens. If you have 5 in your party - the very comfy roll away twin bed can be moved to any room.
No need to use the elevator - for quickest access to the beach, simply walk down the oceanfront stairwell and your toes will be the in sugar soft sand instantly.
Kaanapali, which means "rolling cliffs" in Hawaiian, was a royal retreat for the rulers of Maui who delighted in the perfect three-mile stretch of white sand beach, the gentle waves, warm sunny days and the inspiring backdrop of the majestic West Maui Mountains. Maui's royalty surfed, raced their outrigger canoes, feasted on luaus that lasted for weeks. These same activities are offered right outside the door on glorious Kaanapali Beach! The Whaler is located in the heart of Kaanapali, adjacent to Whalers Village which offers world class dining and shopping.
Resort amenities include central A/C, tennis courts and pickle ball, beach side pool and towels, lobby and poolside coffee and cool drinks, Jacuzzi, newly renovated exercise room, covered parking, concierge, pool, barbecue area and gated entry.
Please be aware that there is a $26 resort fee per day collected at front desk.

Why they chose this property
Coming from an area that offers hiking, biking, water skiing, snow skiing - and jaw dropping beauty, we were a bit picky about where to spend our vacation time. After numerous trips to Maui, and years of vacation rental experience, we are still hooked and can't imagine spending time anywhere else.
As Maui vacationers prior to our purchases, we have experienced the island the same way many of our guests do. The Kaanapali area offers a tremendous variety of beaches, proximity to Lahaina, the famous boardwalk, the most amazing sunsets and the glorious views of Lanai and Molokai.
Our spacious corner unit has one of the most incredible views at the Whaler and on the island - now newly refurbished it is also one of the nicest places to stay as well! This condo is located on the north west corner of the south tower (Tower 2) which means you will not only have the gorgeous west ocean views but the unobstructed north facing ocean shore views featuring Black Rock as well. Watch the whales from December through April right from the wrap around lanai - or even the luxurious ocean facing beds!
Enjoy the views in complete comfort and luxury in this two bedroom, two bath unit, which features air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, flat screen televisions in both bedrooms, (smart tv in living room), WiFi and a full size washer/dryer. Kitchen and bathroom counter tops are granite and the cabinets are gorgeous Hawaiian Koa. All finishes and furnishings create a luxurious, tasteful tropical feel. Appliances are top of the line. The unit has a beautiful travertine floor tile and plush carpets in the living room and both bedrooms that feel like heaven on feet after a day in flip flops.
Having owned another vacation rental located north of this location at the Mahana (919) we were ready for another vacation rental property that was equally as beautiful but different in location and resort amenities...The Whaler!

Our family loves to be comfortable. And we love beautiful things. When you're spending hard earned money for a vacation, you should expect the place you are staying to be cared for, and designed well. How do you FEEL when you are in a space? Are the colors soothing? Is it clean? Are the pillows and sheets luxurious? Is the bed spread 100 years old? YUCK!!! We have selected furniture that is comfortable and beautiful. We pay attention to these things and take your trust in us very seriously.
When you stay in our Maui paradise, you will be provided with everything you can think of to make your vacation a special one. And, you can rest assured that I will personally do everything in my power to ensure you are taken care so that you can create wonderful Maui memories to last a life time.
