Kaanapali Alii: Newly renovated (2023); amazing top floor views

The Kaanapali Alii is in on beautiful Kaanapali Beach - a prime destination in Maui and one of the top beaches in the world. The Alii is an oceanfront resort located between the Marriott and Westin, and has a fabulous courtyard and 3000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center. Whaler's Village, with restaurants and great shopping, is just a short walk down the beach.

Our family-owned condo has been completely renovated (2023) and is actively maintained, allowing us to achieve and keep the coveted 'Premier' rating. Our 11th floor unit has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1500 square feet of space, with spectacular, ever-changing West Maui views, and also overlooks the Royal Kaanapali golf course below. Building 4.

While our unit was built with one bedroom and a den, it is in fact a two bedroom unit - the den bedroom has a solid door, full closet, smart TV, and lots of privacy; the "guest bath" is only steps away.

The principal bedroom has a built in California-king bed, and the 2nd bedroom has a built-in queen bed, sleeping four guests very nicely. The unit include two bathrooms, a large living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, lanai, wash / dryer, 3 modern smart TVs, and Sonos speakers. Various spots to comfortably set up your laptop for a quick work email.

You will want for nothing: there is a 24-hour front desk, 2 pools and Jacuzzis, a kiddie pool, tennis courts and a concierge; parking is free, fresh beach towels are provided at poolside; high quality Wi-Fi in the unit and at poolside, is free. Just like home, there is a BBQ area available for those sunset cookouts. And, the most beautiful beach in the world is just a few steps away.

Kaanapali Alii Resort

This was a great property at an excellent location. Loved everything about this unit, except for the bed. I like more of a firm mattress and this one was just too soft for me even after removing the mattress topper; however, I'm sure it would be ideal for those who like soft mattresses. Aside from that, our stay there was excellent. The views are amazing from the unit and the property was very clean and also very quiet. The location of the beach couldn't have been better. The host was also wonderful and very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Kaanapali Alii Resort again!

Amazing property

This was my first family’s trip to Hawaii and we couldn’t have picked a better property, or rented from better owners. The condo and property were impeccably clean and condo was so spacious. Sitting on patio overlooking the mountains was the perfect start to each day. We definitely took advantage of having a fully stocked kitchen and a supermarket only a few minutes away, as there is no restaurant on the property. We would definitely stay there again. Kaanapali Alii is great for families

Beautiful property with nice pool, bbq, parking, residence, etc. Not as fancy schmanzy as several properties on either side, but not as costly either! Perfect for keeping costs under control, eating at home, and still enjoying beautiful beach. Great proximity to Whaler's Village, with lots of shops and restaurants, as well as an ABC mini market which was nice to have close to us.

We were thrilled with the location, view, and modern renovation of this unit. The floor plan was perfectly situated for our family’s needs, so spacious, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this spectacular unit! Every morning we were greeted with the most beautiful views and cooked breakfast in the amazing kitchen. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to Whaler’s village which had all the shopping and dining you could ask for. The beach was wonderful, with excellent snorkeling right in front of the unit as well as at Black Rock, just a few minutes walk away. When we come back we will definitely stay here again!!!

Amazing rental!

The condo is absolutely beautiful - attention paid to tiny details. The view of the mountains is stunning. The condo was perfectly appointed for our family's weeklong stay. The location couldn't have been better - moments from Whaler's Village. Paul went above and beyond sharing three pages of tips and ticks about Maui and we took some of his suggestions which were great. My family can't wait to return to Maui and we will stay in Paul and Caitlin's rental again!

Loved Everything

We had an amazing stay at Kaanapali Alii. The building grounds were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the pool, sunset views and easy access to one of the best beaches in Maui. Whalers Village is just steps away where we enjoyed many nice lunches and great shopping. Paul and Caitlin's unit was perfect! Really clean, beautifully furnished and well stocked. They were easy to communicate with and provided a great list of activity/food recommendations before we arrived. It was everything and more we could ask for!

We’re the Hooper family from Toronto, Canada and Maui is our ‘Happy Place’ ! We’ve been visitors to Maui and Kaanapali Beach, and guests in this unit, for a number of years. When we had the opportunity in 2019 to become the owners, we jumped at the chance !

Why they chose this property

The Kaanapali Alii is a really beautiful property, right on one of the nicest beaches you’ll find anywhere. The property is very well maintained, convenient to the beach, Whaler’s Village, Black Rock, restaurants, etc. - all within 10 minutes’ walk along the beach.

What makes this property unique

The Kaanapali Alii has the comfort and service you would expect of a hotel, but with so much more space for you and your family to stretch out. Unlike many similar units, our second bedroom is a truly private bedroom. Our unit is spacious, well stocked, and has great views of the golf course below and the West Maui mountains. We love it, and know that you will too.
