Enjoy a relaxing vacation in one of Lake Martins most exclusive private gated communities. Enjoy an early round of golf before rejoining the kid's and going for boat rides to all of the many Lake-side restaraunts. After your crew is tired of boarding, tubing and skiing; Take them by Chimney Rock to test their courage on the rock.

You may also find a few exciting rope swings at Sandy Creek. When it's all said and done, come back to the villa where you've been smoking meat all day on the green egg. Throw a round of horse shoes, sit under the covered porch, and enjoy the ceiling fan as you watch one of the most majestic sunset points on the lake. But if you come and stay with us, be sure to sign in and tell us your memories.

The only place on the lake that you can bring your pet with you for a small pet fee. We also just installed new dock and new bedding for each room.

Great spot

We love staying here. It is convenient to the marina and it has a dock for a boat and you can bring your animal, which we love!

Great place for the weekend

Wife and I had a great time with two other couples who also have kids at Auburn. We invited the kids down on Friday and again on Sunday after the game it was fantastic

Nice little getaway

The condo itself is in a nice location, had everything we needed, and was comfortable. The small backyard needed a trim but everything else was perfect!

It’s a very quiet place to stay, great access to water. The owner was responsive. On the negative side, there were substantial issues with roaches, the floor was very dirty, under the beds must not have been cleaned in ages. If cleaned properly, I’d rate it 4 out of 5 (due to older furnishings and bedding).

Awesome Condo!

Beautiful condo all hardwood floors, clean, and comfy beds. Although we were there in the off season we still enjoyed the view. We even saw 2 deer on the property within 6 feet from the front door one evening. Would definitely rent there again. We met some neighbors who gave us information on where to eat. Excellent experience.

Nostalgic Lake Martin

This was a trip down memory lane for us as we spent 10 years on Lake Martin prior to making the move to full time lake life on Smith Lake in 2019. We brought the family back down and did all the things we remembered: goat island, peanut point, Ice cream at Windcreek and most importantly ate Chuck’s pizza for lunch 2 days straight! It was so close to the condo!! A great stay was had and some new memories made! Beds are SUPER comfy and the back porch is AWESOME! Thank you for a wonderful accommodation! We’re going to try to make this an annual tradition now!!

Lake Martin Villa

It was a great place for me and my boys (dogs) . The last two days I was here I guess one of the neighbors smokes inside their villa and you could smell it inside the first floor on this Villa . But other than that is was a great stay . Thanks you for letting me enjoy your lake home .

On the lake

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful location. However we couldn’t get the tv to start and it was very frustrating to sort out the problem. But was eventually fixed. The home was beautiful and clean but could do with some updates more lighting as it was quite dark to read especially at night. The bathroom rail by the sink needs fixing in the front bedroom over looking the lake. Overall it was a very pleasant condo and we found it very relaxing and would recommend it

Never Again

Positive: on the lake, a/c worked well, updated bathrooms Negative: house reeked of stale cigarette smoke, dead roaches in fridge and coffee maker, ice maker too gross to use, dried food on old utensils, mattress had large dip in middle, moldy shower tile, dirty bath mats, broken kitchen faucet, terrible shower head, sheetrock and baseboard disrepair, dirty floors behind furniture and under beds, poor bedroom and bathroom lighting. Would never stay here again!

Dirty House & Bugs

The location was great, right off the water. Unfortunately the house was very dirty. Your feet were black if you walked on the floors. We found bugs both dead & alive. We had to clean the kitchen, wash anything we used in the kitchen. House had a bad odor that they tried to cover up plug-ins. I hope the owners get a new housekeeper. We’ve never had a bad experience with VRBO, until this visit. 😒

Positives: location, beds are comfy, view is beautiful Negatives: floors were not clean, beer left in freezer which had exploded leaving broken glass, no dishwasher detergent, “clean” towels were finally found still damp in dryer, holes & stains on master comforter & several of the bathroom linens, porch furniture was filthy, grass needs cut badly, kitchen cup found outside by lawn chair, porch railing needs repaired, pots & pans need replacing, moldy shower liner, broken blinds in bunk room, old dog poop in yard…I think that about covers it. Summary, great location, fair price, will not rent again.

Look Elsewhere

We stayed at this Villa in October and reported issues then and when we checked in again in January NOTHING had been addressed. Freezer dirty, patio furniture dirty, rotten wooden on steps and all outdoor lights don’t work. Sheet rock mold and holes in walls along side both bathtubs. I really don’t get the positive reviews! we won’t be returning. Look elsewhere!!!

Great location- dirty condo

The location was amazing. This condo needs repairs which I can deal with but the place was dirty. Dust balls everywhere, hair clips, miscellaneous items, etc under beds, dirty dishes in cabinets, green egg was so dirty we couldn’t use it. Locksmith had to come out because the door lock didn’t work upon arrival. Outside trashcan was not taken to the road and had a horrendous smell right by the front door with flies everywhere. Saw lots of roaches in the bed, on the walls etc. Pest control did come out and it helped some but no one called (only emailed) to notify they were coming. We were not there and had valuables out. Great price but the place wasn’t clean.

Perfect accommodations for family and friends!

I usually communicate with the owner/manager more, but hikes a section of the Appalachian trail and was off grid until the day we arrived. Some of our family didn’t make it due to early pregnant sickness and a car accident. We arrived at night and would have preferred a few more details for the group as to finding the unit in the dark. They would have been sufficient in daylight. Other than that, everything was perfect. We went to the AU game and then relaxed at unit eleven. It was just delightful. So content. From Dallas with home being AL. Would definitely stay again. Amenities were spot on. Thank you for such a relaxing stay. Joy

Very nice and had all that we needed

Great stay for a Arkansas/Auburn game, close to field. This was our yearly guys football weekend for my family. Like the deck and dock, we sat on dock each night and watched the sun set. Bedrooms, kitchen and baths all good. We will use this unit again.

Lake Martin Villa

Positives: Kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of towels Beautiful location Comfortable beds Loved the ice maker DirectTV is a plus during football season Pet friendly Negatives: Master bedroom does not have access to closet. We were there for a wedding so needed to hangout our nice clothes. Living room and dining room could use more lighting We had to replace batteries in DirectTV remote There were a few large roaches, both dead and alive. Our puppy kept finding the dead ones and trying to eat them. We chased down the live one we saw and killed it. Overall, we would definitely rent again.

Relaxing moments

The stay was wonderful. Enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch and starring at the lake. The villa was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. A few issues were at hand according the the listing. There was not a second grill. The green egg was available but was not clean. The fireplace was a plus but we did not use it (there were ashes underneath the wood). The porch had lots of spider webs we had to clean. The cleaning fee charged to us after we leave should be put to use by the person who is managing the property for the owner. All in all, we would return, if allowed, to rent the property on the future. It felt like a “home away from home”.

Our entire family treasures this special place on Lake Martin. It is never seems too far once we get in the car. It has been great when our children were young and as they have grown into teenagers. We are excited to share our special home away from home with your family. We have stocked it with many of the conveniences we use at home. We understand you only have a limited time to vacation, we want it to be a memorable one.

Why they chose this property

Sam has been going to this villa with friends since he was very young. It became a treasured place for him at a young age. Prior to having our daughter, he had discussed with the family who owned the villa at the time that he himself would like to purchase it. A few days after we had our daughter, they agreed. He wanted his daughter, nieces and nephews, to be able to have the same memories he had as a young child. We have remodeled the unit to make it our own. This is a very special place for our family and we look forward to every visit. We are happy to share it with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
