We had an incredible stay! The house was immaculate and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the incredible view of the cape from the porch! Thank you Ted for being such a generous and responsive host!
Beautiful house and Ted very responsive. Beautiful view and access to bat of fundy. Took us a few days to get in the groove but once we did really appreciated the location.
A wonderful place for our summer family gathering. A well-stocked house, with several quiet corners. Many thanks to the home owner for his careful responses.
Edward was amazing. He made us feel like family, so welcoming and knew so much about my lineage. He shared the spots to visit, hidden hems and provided the history of my ancestors. I went there to learn more about where I came from and he helped me learn just how amazing our Scottish hero is. Not only that but the home was a perfect blend of comfy cozy and chic. The area is beautiful and the tides are a wonder to behold.
The house is immaculate and very comfortable. The views of the Bay of Fundy are spectacular, as is the beach, which has incredible geological features and an ever changing shoreline due to the rapid changes of tide. Most mornings you could walk out into the bay for hundreds of feet, and watch the tide come in at noon to the rocks lining the shore. Our hosts were amazingly responsive, friendly, kind and generous. When my friend found some nautical maps she had been searching for, our host's son MADE her a hand-made balsa wood box to carry them home in so that they wouldn't be damaged in flight. He helped us when the wi-fi went out so that we could watch a movie, and was so helpful with things to do and see in the area. When we said we three were musicians looking for some Irish and Celtic music, he left us CDs to take home with us! This place is remote, extremely quiet and so stunningly beautiful. It was the perfect retreat from the world for three old college friends to have a reunion. We cooked, we walked on the beach, we went to the charming towns nearby, the Geopark at Five Islands, the Dutchman's Cheese Shop, and ate the most fabulous seafood you can imagine. If you're looking for a true retreat from the hustle of everyday life, this is it! I know I want to return.
Beautiful home just steps away from the Bay of Fundy tides. Quiet location away from the bustle of tourist traps. Host was most helpful with any questions we had
Exceeded expectations. Fantastic home. Great kitchen. Amazing access to the beach. Kids were really occupied for 2 weeks. Amazing swimming. Can’t wait to come back

Thank you very much for your kind review . We enjoyed having you. Sorry about the internet troubles , we have upgraded our router and plan on upgrading our server.
We planned a week vacation by the Bay of Fundy and our expectations were surpassed. It was an extremely clean and fully equipped cottage with large living areas. If you forget anything chances are they have it.
Quick and private access to the beach with miles of exploring in either direction. I enjoyed kayaking alongside our seaside excursions.
The owner Ted was courteous and helpful in meeting all our needs.
Thank you for a great vacation!

Like many folks these days, my family needed a place to spend the 14 day quarantine period in order to enter the Atlantic Bubble. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt like we struck gold with this place. The two weeks felt more like a beach holiday than any sort of ordeal!
On our arrival, we were greeted with a cheery fire burning in the woodstove, a selection of local cheeses and a sampling of local craft beer. There were grocery basics in the fridge and within a couple of days, Ted (our amazing host) brought our online grocery order in from Truro. He checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed (and dropped anything by that we didn't).
The house was perfect for our family: 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and 2 living spaces with lots of comfy chairs and sofas. The kitchen was well stocked for everything so we did baking projects and even some elaborate meals. The home was sparkling clean with lots of towels and several great games/books. The one downside was very slow internet but the cell coverage was enough that we managed.
The absolute best part of this place is the beach. Having access to miles of gorgeous empty beach provided hours of entertainment every day. We went for long walks, we built structures with driftwood, we had beach fires and the kids even waded past their knees in the frigid water! The way the beaches changed with the huge tides (we were here during some of the biggest ones of the year!) and the variety in colour/shape/texture of the cliffs never grew old.
In summary, we would HIGHLY recommend this place for quarantining or as a base to explore the Bay of Fundy area. Ted went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, safety and enjoyment. This stay has definitely been a highlight in our cross Canada adventures.
Ted and Sandras home was so inviting and in a superb location with lots of room to keep the kids entertained. The property was more than we could have hoped for and the generosity of these hosts was amazing. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend this beautiful home to our friends and family.
Thanks again

Ted’s place was brilliant, absolutely clean and stylish. It's great value for money and great location for families with or without young kids. Beds were comfy and the shower was great. Kitchen was well equipped. The house is right by the beach which just declared as UNESCO Global Geopark. Watching the tide comes and go twice a day is a must see once in a lifetime.
Ted is also a great host. He is very helpful about what's around and quick to response to any questions we have. He touched base with us often during our stay and made sure we have everything we need. Overall, we were absolutely happy to stay at Ted's place and it's one of our favourite family vacation! Would recommend to anyone!
The property is directly on the Bay of Fundy, amazing views. The house is very cute, we had everything we needed. Communication with the owners was easy and responsive. Short drive to see The Three Sisters. Definitely check out the Dutch Cheese Farm, right down the road - it was one of the kid's favorite things.
