This 3B/2B home has 1 king , 1 queen bed, one double bed and two xl twin beds with 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, cable TV, and fireplace with gas logs. Big screen tv and 3 recliners in the den for watching games.

Great Cozy Log House

Check in was super easy and owner was easy going. The house was spacious and accommodations were great. Nice private area with fenced in yard. 5 mins away from the lake or any of the restaurants. Can’t wait to make another trip to Grenada again and will gladly stay in the same house.

My husband, son and nephew stayed here while on a weekend fishing trip to Grenada Lake. They said the house was clean and easy to access. The owner even dropped off a Strawberry Pie! We will be returning in the spring and will definitely stay here!

We contacted Charlie during a chaotic evacuation from hurricane Laura. Both Charlie and the Riverdale Lodge were a huge blessing to us. Charlie was more than accommodating, attentive, and helpful. The lodge was beautiful and rustic. It is in a perfect location, far enough from the busyness of town but close enough to make a quick trip for groceries. We enjoyed just walking around outside in the peace and quiet. It is such a beautiful place. The only problem we had is that our boys didn't want to leave. We hope to be back soon for a vacation minus the evacuation!

Absolutely terrible.

The house was supposed to be ready by 3. We arrived at 3:45 and found the owner there. And the house in shambles. He told us he had been living in it and didn’t realize we were coming. We inspected the property before leaving to go fishing. All of his personal items were in the house. Used soap dirty towels. The beds had been all slept in and not made. When we returned he made the beds but didn’t change any of the bedding. We had to go buy new bedding. The owner would show up while we were not at the house and get items from house and also leave items out. I.e an empty Diet Coke can. His chewing tobacco was laying around along with his spit bottles. The house was covered in dog hair and all the furniture was grimy and stains. The cherry on top of all this was on the second night we noticed the cockroach infestation. That sealed the deal. Unfortunately we didn’t have the normal welcoming feeling when at the house. We spent the majority of the time outside. Very disappointed we had this trip planned for almost a year.

The day of check in was contacted by owner told he over booked the rental. He said he ad a place for us to stay but place was 30 mins away from were I wanted to stay. Alot more driving back and forth. I would have took refund if contacted early. I booked place in December don't know way, I wasn't contacted early.
