Chauga River - The Guest House - Private - Secluded

Our Guest House is a quaint little place perfect for 2 people and for couples getaway. It is located on Chauga River, with a great swimming hole and beach. Perfect location if you are interested in River rafting (Chattooga River rafting is near by). If you enjoy hiking, fishing or just enjoying outdoors this is the place for you. We would love to have you!! Close to Clemson, Cashiers NC, Highlands NC, Clayton GA, and Chattooga Belle Farms.

If you are traveling by plane I offer other services for your convenience. Contact me for details.

This is a perfect little get away spot. Beautiful scenery and comfortable location on the property with a welcoming vibe and clear direction for parking and entering the Guest House. I did not get to enjoy the property and all of its beauty as much as a wanted to because we were here for other reasons, but the allure of it has me already planning a trip back to get the full experience. The Guest House was very clean and stocked for the necessities needed for immediate arrival, Kay thinks of it all! Sorry Keevin if I assumed wrong! The layout is perfect and has a very home like feeling. We did a lazy relaxing Sunday before a long drive home and it was perfect. Thanks for a great stay and I will be back with my adventurous fiance for sure! He is already looking forward to it!

Relaxing and beautiful get-away

We had a wonderful weekend at The Guest House! The property was a perfect spot for a weekend away. The house was very clean and cozy and we enjoyed the scenic river view. We would highly recommend this place and hope to return again soon!

Perfect Getaway

Amazing location and scenery. Excellent trout fishing in the river and extremely relaxing. It was the perfect location to just get away from it all and recharge.

Nice getaway place

When we arrived we were happy to see the photos and descriptions were exactly as told. The location is a wonderful spot to enjoy nature right there or to visit nearby outdoor locations. We look forward to going back again when we stay a bit longer.

Great stay for a fishing trip!

Had an overwhelmingly pleasant stay here. Kay and Keevin’s hospitality goes above and beyond. The guest house is very private and extremely clean and well furnished, felt like I was at home! The house is a great location for fishing right on the Chauga river and within 15 minutes of the Chattooga River. Will definitely be coming back for another visit!

Took my father for a trout fishing trip to mountain rest sc for a late father's day present, Kay's place was extremely clean and well appointed. Privacy was limited, main house is only a few feet away. It was ok for us, as we were fishing most of the time but i can see this being a concern for others that might stay. But again, the guest house was extremely clean, had everything we needed. Very comfortable, for sure.
