About this property

Mountain Lodge LOULOU: luxury chalet with sauna at 250 m from the ski lift.

THE LODGE:

The chalet consists of a comfortable living room with sitting area, flat screen television and music system. There is an open kitchen with a stove, microwave, oven, fridge with freezer, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, coffee maker, ... In the chalet there is free internet connection. There is a balcony on the ground floor and on the first floor with connection to a large terrace with a beautiful view of the Dent Blanche, Vallée d'Herémence and Vallée d'Herens. In the living room there is a dining area with seating for 8 people. Also outside on the terrace is a dining table with benches for 8 people. Barbecue appliance is provided.


Prices are inclusive of bed linen and towels and exclusive cleaning.

In total there are five bedrooms in the chalet, four of which have a double bed (with two separate single mattresses) and one with two single beds (under a sloping roof). Three bathrooms, one with bath, toilet and a double washbasin (first floor) and two
with a shower, toilet and a single washbasin. All the bedrooms with double beds have a view of the Val d'Herens and Val d'Heremence.

Mountain Lodge Loulou has a separate sauna right next to the entrance. In the basement there is a washing machine and a drying cabinet (free to use). Free internet connection is provided in the chalet. The chalet also has a garage for 1 car and a separate heated room in the garage for skis and ski boots or bicycles. Outside there is an extra parking space.

The center of the village of Les Masses, with a small supermarket and a new restaurant, is about 10 minutes walking distance from the lodge.
Ski lift with ample parking (free parking in 2017, hopefully also in 2018!) is 300 meters from the chalet. There is also a possibility to leave the skis and ski shoes in a locker on the ski lift. At the ski lift there is a bar in a chalet where you can drink something. For several shops, restaurants, bars, the ski school and ski rental you can go to Les Collons, which is 10 minutes by car. The village of Thyon 2000 is about 15 minutes away, where you can go for a. An indoor pool and childcare.

During the high season (Christmas, New Year or February) the chalet can only be rented for 1 week from Saturday to Saturday or from Sunday to Sunday.

On request, catering is possible for evening meals or the refrigerator can be filled on arrival.

Xmas Holiday 2023

We have had a splendid week in this nice chalet. Well equipped and well maintained. Beautiful mountain view! Communication was excellent, check-in and -out without problems. It is a 10 min uphill walk or a 3 min drive to the free parkink garage where the chairlift is located. Lockers are for rent as well. The lift takes one roght ninto the skiing area, but direct ski-in and ski out to the chalet is not possible (roads). The surroundings were somewhat rugges like a construction site, the footpath a bitt muddy and slippery. That might be improved easily and soon without much effort. All in all I can highly recommend chalet LouLou to every party looking for alpine pleasure in the Swiss Alps. Regards, Michael

Leuke en mooie vakantiewoning in prachtige streek

Heel leuk huis waar alles ruim voorzien was, zowel qua keukengerief als de andere voorzieningen in het huis. Alles was ook heel proper en net, kortom top. Dit in een prachtige en rustige streek…

Geweldig verblijf

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in LouLou. Het huis is vrijwel nieuw, van alle gemakken voorzien en met zorg ingericht. Dat maakt dat je je snel thuisvoelt. Het uitzicht is waanzinnig, zowel vanuit de veranda als alle kamers. Enige kleine aandachtspuntje is dat het nog zo nieuw was, dat er nog geen pad was naar het huis toe (modder) en dat het vanaf de auto minder makkelijk bereikbaar was (best ver lopen met de koffers), maar we gaan ervan uit dat dat binnenkort verholpen zal zijn als weeën goed pad ligt. Wat ons betreft echt een aanrader!

Moutain Lodge Loulou

Das Chalet ist wunderschön und in hervorragendem Ausstattungszustand. Küchenausstattung, Technik, TV und W-Lan, alles super. Die Umgebung ist leider noch in Baustellenzustand, der Blick auf das herrliche Alpenpanorama wird doch etwas beeinträchtigt. Das Chalet hat 4 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder, was absolut ausreicht. In der Beschreibung ist von 4 Bädern und 6 Schlafzimmern die Rede, das könnte zu Problemen führen, wenn man sich in der Gruppe nicht gut kennt. Das leicht zu erreichende Skigebiet hatte sogar genug Schnee (Anfang Januar), ist aber schlecht gepflegt, die Pisten sind nicht gut präpariert. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und der Housekeeperin war perfekt. Alles in Allem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Wer Ruhe will, ist am richtigen Platz!

Eine tolles Chalet, an einer sehr ruhigen Lage, mit einer unglaublich schönen Aussicht. Das Bild wurde nur von den vielen Chalets gestört, die gerade erbaut werden. Trotzdem hat es uns nicht extrem gestört, da niemand auf den Baustellen war und wir daher unsere Ruhe hatten.

Fantastische vakantiewoning

We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad. Mooi huisje met een fantastisch uitzicht. Fijne keuken met alles er in. De sauna is heerlijk. Dichtbij de pistes waar je gratis kan parkeren en altijd genoeg plek is.

Toller Ausblick, sauber, tolle Ausstattung, alles da. Die Hausnummer wäre hilfreich anzugeben. Wir haben sehr lange das Haus suchen müssen. Hätten wir keine Fotos vom Chalet, hätten wir es nicht gefunden. Kommunikation zum Besitzer war schlecht.

sehr gepflegtes Chalet in ruhiger Lage

Das Chalet ist sauber, modern und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe der Liftstation. Etwas mühsam ist der Fußweg, über den das Haus zu erreichen ist, vor allem, wenn er vereist ist. 3 Schlafzimmer sind sehr schön, 1 Schlafzimmer ist ziemlich beengt. Insgesamt haben wir uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.

Chalet hat Erwartungen übertroffen!

Das Chalet ist komfortabel und hochwertig eingerichtet. Dabei lassen die Ausstattung, die Sauna und die Aussicht keine Wünsche offen. Zum Lift muss man ein paar Höhenmeter zu Fuss gehen. Der Ablauf mit dem freundlichen Vermieter lief einfach und reibungslos. Wir empfehlen das Chalet zu 100% weiter. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor het Val d'Hérens

We hebben het chalet in de zomer gehuurd. Het huisje is ons goed bevallen. We hebben prachtige wandeltochten in de buurt gemaakt in het dal van Lac de dix, en Val d'Hérens. Ook kun je er goed MTB-en en aangenaam zwemmen in het Lac de la Brèche in het Rhone dal. Genoeg leuks te doen dus! Het moderne chalet was een perfecte uitvalsbasis. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben werkelijk niets gemist. Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon en master bedroom op de Dent Blanche is prachtig. Dichtbij zit een klein supermarktje voor iedere dag vers brood.

Très beau chalet, propre et bien pensé

Un chalet très charmant, confortable et moderne avec une belle vue sur les montages et le barrage. Un seul défaut, beaucoup trop d'escaliers pour rejoindre le chalet depuis le parking. Très bien équipé, bonne literie et parfait pour deux familles ! Je recommande pour des personnes en forme :-)

Wintersport de luxe

Prachtige stijlvol ingerichte chalet , heerlijk logeren onder vrienden. Warm interieur , super uitzicht . Op 5min wandelafstand van skilift , skimateriaal kan aan skilift in locker zodat je vlot kan terugwandelen naar chalet.
