House fit our needs well and is great property just a block from the lake. Beds were all comfortable and two rooms upstairs are huge. Would stay here again.
The property is as advertised, well located, and overall worked well for our two families who met there. Our biggest complaint is that the water never got hotter than lukewarm so showers were very quick!
Mostly clean. Upstairs is very nice. Downstairs has obvious moisture issues. Downstairs rooms are small with limited storage. Good for kids or young adults.
Good place..lots of room...hot water heater wasn't working, but owner responded quickly and water heater was broke.. offered us options of using camp ground bathhouse and some wort of refund but haven'theard back yet..5 forks so bring forks, kleenex, tin foil, mixing bowls alot were cracked...dish clothes, only one extra blanket supplied, Our family talked and we would stay again..just the little supplies needed..we have stayed in other places more stocked for travelers kinda shocked us..we do recommend this home...lots of towels..
The upstairs rooms are huge and worked out great for cooking, eating and playing games. Used the outdoor table to eat too and fire pit one evening. Three bedrooms downstairs are fine to sleep. All three bathrooms were updated and very nice. Couldn't ask for more..so glad this was our place to stay!
This was a great place for five couples for a golfing/boating weekend. There was plenty of space and the beds were adequate. The bathrooms were all updated and were nice. We didn’t use any of the cooking facilities as we chose to eat out but it looked like the kitchen was well stocked. The first course we played was just right across the highway. The boat ramp was close and easy to find.
We had a great time. We left a list of suggestions that
we thought would be helpful for future guests. We are
probably ‘unusual guests’ in that we enjoy being together,
cook, bake, play lots of games n stay at the house for the
most part. Thank you, Alan, for responding to my ‘issues’
and bringing a new grill. I hope you have a great season!
Biggest and most troublesome problem happened when the lower level flooded - septic issue. Owner did send property manager (she was fabulous and worked her butt off to mediate issues) and plumber ASAP and problem was resolved after about 6 hrs. In the meantime no one could use any plumbing facilities, extreme inconvenience. This resulted in checking out 24 hrs early due to some residual moisture and disinfectant odor. Was told some refund was forthcoming.

I apologize for this, it was something completely out of our control but glad we got it fixed as quick as we could. Our plumber is a volunteer firefighter so he went over as soon as he was done with a fire. I also issued a refund as promised.
We checked in at 4pm and the place was a mess. No one had been there to clean. I place was very dated and is in the campground with very little parking for several families to stay. The rooms are not as they look in the pictures. Upstairs 1 room with king bed, and 1 room with 2 queen beds is right. In the advertised pictures they just change the pictures and bed spreads to make it look like more rooms. The 3 bedrooms in the basement each had a full size bed with little walking room and no headboard or nightstands. This place was a step up from staying a camper in a close quarter campers. I give this place a negative 10!

The amount of rooms in the listing is accurate and not a bait and switch, I refunded you $800 because my cleaner had her dates wrong and we had her come right away and get it clean which I believed was a more than generous offering as its 50% of your stay off. As in the listing there are 5 bedrooms, and sleeps 12 listing 1 master upstaris, a big room with 2 beds upstaris and 3 bedrooms downstairs. The beds are all queens besides the master. We advertise being at the RV park, which has not been an issue. I apologize for these issues and we are trying our best.
The property is in a RV court which is not listed on the description. The outdoor fire pit and patio area is very small and beside a busy road.. this property did not give a good depiction and the inside of the cabin is very dark. It could improve on cleanliness and the beds are not very comfortable . Many of the doors are warped, and do not close..one of the gas grills was not hooked up and the other was very dirty. I would not recommend this property.
We were late to planning and had only a couple options with 5 bedrooms to accommodate our full family. The property was great!
I was a little concerned reading the reviews but it was great! Very clean! There were dehumidifiers in the basement to avoid any damp basement smell mentioned by others.
We had a small issue with the air conditioning and left a phone message for the owner. He was at the door in 10 minutes!!! And quickly fixed the issue.
The house sits right along the road but is primarily bike and golf cart traffic. We had ample parking and there is. Spot Long the road the was easy to park the boat. We were able to walk to Arnold’s park and the beach on quiet back roads. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Misrepresention of listing
Part of the house was the office for the adjacent RV park- information on the house did not disclose that the home was part of an RV park. Lower level bedrooms were dark, smelled and musty. Dishwasher did not work. Beds in one upstairs bedroom had uncomfortable beds.

It does say in the description that we are next to our RV park and have never had an issue with this. The part of the house you are saying is our office is storage and isn't accessible to guests and is not part of the listing or pictures nor is it used during stays unless we are bringing in cleaning products for the house. I apologize the dishwasher broke we have since replaced it and were unware it was broken until your mid stay. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Thanks for staying,
Alan
