The space was cute and its proximity to the beach and a lovely atmosphere was why it was picked and on those points it certainly delivered. It was in need of a little cleaning- nothing major- just a few dead bugs in the space.
Entering the home was an ordeal so contact the owners early for the tricks on how to enter the lodging.
Stay was present at household. Grounds and decking needed some upgrading and upkeep needed. Fence access was difficult I had to lift fence to get into the yard. Interior of home was cute for a small house.
We absolutely loved our stay. We were within walking distance to the beach, and a short drive to all the attractions and restaurants. Hope to stay here again!
I thought this house was so cute and cozy. It felt very homey and the AC worked GREAT!! It was so hot and coming home to that amazing AC was heaven. They are window units so they were a little noisy but nothing real to complain about. I liked the white noise of them. The hot tub never did get warm and it could’ve been cleaner so we did not get in it but it did work, it just never got warm. The front gate was locked which was annoying bc we had to walk all the way around the property to throw away trash. The property manager or VRBO never sent us instructions so I was panicking but after messaging a few times I finally got a response and was able to get into the house without having to wait around. The shower was great! It’s really a house for a couple and not a new couple bc there’s no privacy lol. It’s small so everything you do in the restroom can be heard by anyone in the house. The loft was so neat but very hot during the day. It did cool off at night and we appreciated the extra fans. Overall it’s a nice place to stay. The location was great!!
We rented this place for our honeymoon stay and it was everything we could’ve wanted plus more in a place! It’s was perfect size for two and everything there was very nice and clean. The hot tub was also great for relaxing after being out all day! Most definitely plan on being back!!
The hot tub was nice. The property is very cute and nicely located. Check-in directions were not sent to me. I had to reach out, but she was very quick to respond. The coffee pot doesn’t work. The bed sinks to the middle. Otherwise I loved the place.
This was our 2nd stay (6th year Anniversary) and we couldnt be more excited about this place. The atmosphere, the great feel and semi- seclusion with an Island Theme. All the things we needed were provided. Would love to come back next year. Cant wait. My paradise away from home. Only issue I had was some communication issues with the owner. Said its an issue with VRBO not relaying messages but in anycase a minor hiccups and the Owner couldnt have been any nicer to us. Thank you again and hope we can enjoy your little dwelling in the future.

Not what we expected!
My fiancé and I were to stay here for the weekend (apr 8-10) for a quick pre-wedding vacation. We arrived an hour past check in, and still did not receive the instructions to check in. Messaged them on VRBO, waited 10 minutes and no response so I called from the app. The person that answered had no idea who I was and apparently sold the property. Eventually got in after a different number texted me with the code info. Walk in look around and everything seems to be great! We change, and left for dinner reservations. We come back to the house to relax before a night out, and we decide to check out the upstairs. It’s cute… but there was rat droppings everywhere! On the bed, all over the floor, on top of the beams… I look at my fiancé and I was like okay let’s go downstairs. We end up wanting to stay in so we were going to check out the hot tub. It was so cold (102 degrees) and way over chlorinated the chlorine chemicals were making us cough. Now freezing, we try taking a shower. COLD ALSO! We spend 30 mins tying to figure out how to turn on the hot water, and figure out the water heater was off. So we have to wait for the water to heat up for another 20 minutes. By now we are both frustrated, and I text the number that texted me the code about the hot tub - no response. I text again about the hot water - nothing. So while waiting for the hot water to heat up I decide to go look through things. I found more rat droppings in the kitchen cabinets, on top on the fridge, stools, on top on the entertainment center. Later that evening my fiancé started coughing, and sneezing having an allergy attack so I give him some medicine. He was so miserable I asked if he wanted to leave and go get a hotel. We were already out $650 for this 2 night rental, and he didn’t want to spend anymore money so he said he could make it through the night. Finally the Benadryl kicked in and we were able to take a uncomfortable shower.Frustrated, we try to go to sleep. Woke up to find mold in the coffee grounds, AND in the coffee maker, so I go and get coffee. Come back to find a HUGE RAT wondering around our things, and scurries behind one of the beams and into the ceiling. We immediately pack out things and let the owner know we are leaving and why - no response. The next day I call VRBO because no response and I wanted my money back! Finally we get ahold of her and she says she’ll send me a refund. I was expecting all of it - but only got back $300 3 weeks later. Don’t walk RUN
We made a quick trip to Galveston and stayed two nights in this quaint home. It’s very welcoming and easy to find. The hot tub was great and along with the beds being very comfortable. This house had everything we needed, even a tv when we just needed to put our feet up. The owners made instant contact with any questions and are very nice. I would recommend this home for your stay.

Cute, clean, cozy!
Place was really nice and clean. Enough space for two to spend the weekend. Walking distance to the beach as well as great restaurants nearby. It was a little chilly the weekend I was there so we spent time in the jacuzzi after strolling along the beach all morning. Nice front yard to sit on patio and drink coffee. Would come back! Thanks Brittany for being such a great hostess!
