The home was nice. Could use some more baking trays and a skillet but had nearly everything else and we could make what was there work out fine. It was fine for just the 2 of us. You really pay for the view, the decks and hot tub were delightful. We saw a bald eagle sore over midday while relaxing in the hot tub and was such a perfect spot.
This home was perfect for our short getaway. We walked the trail to the lake a few times a day to watch wildlife, enjoyed the hot tub and loved seeing so many stars at night!
Very quiet and views were nice. Loved you could hike down to lake. Dogs loved it

We're glad you appreciated the hiking trail that leads down to the lake. It's always a pleasure to offer our guests the opportunity to explore nature and enjoy the surrounding landscapes. We hope the hike provided you and your furry friends with a memorable experience.
We hope to have the pleasure of hosting another stay!
We loved our stay! The cabin was very private and exactly as described. There are so many places to lounge to take in the views or read. We had the most relaxing stay. The hot tub under the stars at night was magical. The wifi and tv meant cozy movie nights. Will definitely return!!

It's so great to hear you loved your stay, Samantha! We appreciate your kind words, so much! We would love to have you back anytime!
Our stay was wonderful. There were no leaves on the trees so you could see the lake clearly. The hot tub was a highlight. The binder with check in/out information needed updating, there definitely wasn't a dishwasher and the instructions for the hot tub were missing. Also, there was now place to put out luggage or clothing. No closet to hang clothes, no luggage rack to put a suitcase. If both beds had been in use, we would have had to put our clothes on the floor (nasty, it's a hygiene thing). All said, we would go back. We enjoyed the quiet and remote area.
Property was very pretty and well taken care of. This was exactly the getaway my girlfriend and I were looking for. It was very peaceful and provided us with one of the best weekends we have had in a long time. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would absolutely stay here again!

It is wonderful that you both had one of the best weekends at our Cabin! Thank you Jarrett! We hope to host you both again!
Great location, beautiful view of Lake Monroe, and nice quiet area. I highly recommend this place because of how serene it was and they had provided everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was nice and there was a fire pit if we wanted to have a fire. The only downside is that there is no phone coverage at the houses location for T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T so save the door code and wifi passcode before you start your trip there.

Thank you for choosing Lake House for your Spring fishing trip and the high recommendation! So wonderful that you enjoyed all of the amenities provided! We hope to host another stay!
Wonderful location. The loft cabin lake house was well supplied including pots and pans and I ended up overpacking after reading previous reviews. Charcoal grill was small but considering it’s not meant for a huge crowd anyways I was able to make a nice meal for family of 4. The hot tub was clean and worked well. The location was 15 minutes down a winding gravel road I was not aware of that. Very peaceful beautiful place to relax and not too far from small town shops.
Birthday week, no kids, didn't watch tv at all! Shopping, hot tubbing, cards, board games, actual conversations! 6am hot tub waiting for sunrise with an uninterrupted cup of coffee...bliss!!!
Loved everything about the property. One thing to note is we were told the home had a gas grill but it was in fact charcoal. It’s a 20 minute drive on an unpaved road to get to the property so having to turn around to leave to get charcoal was not ideal.

Thank you Heather! We are glad that you loved the property. So sorry about the inconvenience! We recently changed the grills.
Enjoyed the awesome views every direction. Cabin nicely furnished.
Spectacular stars from the hot tub at night. The quiet was amazing.
Place is dusty , Smeared food stains on welcome book and black chairs.
We had to clean that. Moldy curtain in the funky shower.
Beware of steep step at front door.

An older property but pretty well kept. Plenty of kitchen supplies and towels. Beds were comfortable. Felt like we were the first ones there for the season. All decks needed swept off, had to tear through vines to find the trail down to the lake. Lake Monroe was too high, up into the trees to try and fish but we took a few nice walks, played several games and made a few trips into town. Additional notes were left on the checkout list.
