Welcome to Cozy Bear Cabin, your peaceful woodsy retreat just 5 minutes from downtown Nashville and 15 minutes to Bloomington! Enjoy the perfect balance of nature and convenience close to shops and eateries, yet surrounded by the charm of Brown County. Outdoor adventure awaits only 2 miles away at Brown County State Park, where you can hike, ride horses, and explore miles of scenic trails.
Inside the Cabin
Stay connected with high-speed fiber internet perfect for streaming, Zoom calls, or catching up on Netflix. You’re welcome to sign in to any additional streaming apps.
A half bathroom, plus an in-unit washer and dryer, make longer stays a breeze.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to cook and gather:
Full set of utensils, cookware, and bakeware
Coffee maker + Keurig
Stove, oven, and all major appliances
6-person wood dining table—great for meals or card games
High chair provided
Gas grill and picnic table in the backyard for outdoor dining

Upstairs you’ll find two inviting bedrooms, each with:

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch swing or one of the rocking chairs. In the evening, gather around the backyard fire pit (firewood not provided).
Although the cabin sits close to the road, the backyard offers a great place for kids to play.

Welcome to Cozy Cabins! My family has been very fortunate to have met the previous Cozy owners, and to be able to purchase four amazing cabins from them. We are truly grateful for their kindness, wisdom and generosity!
The four cabins are located in Brown County and Bartholomew County. My husband's family has a long-standing connection to the Brown County area, with a family cabin that has existed for over 150 years. We have updated the cabin on the same property and visit it often. We truly appreciate the heritage of Brown County and everything the region has to offer.
We feel very lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing local restaurants, shops, and venues. We recognize that these local businesses are the heart and soul of the Brown County community, and we value them not just as a family that enjoys their services, but as new short-term rental owners eager to serve both locals and visitors to the Brown County area.
