Villa Joya Escondida is an exquisite designer villa for guests who want to experience all that Costa Rica is. With sweeping ocean and mountain views, this privately gated home is nestled in the forested hillside of North Playas Del Coco in a small, gated community.

The contemporary beach design is by architect, Víctor Canas, and boasts his signature exposed, flowing spaces that bring the outdoors in. Open the pocket sliding doors to your private salt water infinity pool perched above Coco Bay.

The furnished house is perfectly located on the northern side of Playa Coco, with easy, walkable access to restaurants, beach, grocery stores, services and amenities. Relax in the casual beach, yet elegant atmosphere featuring a comfortable king master suite on the main floor with a private en suite, terrace and breathtaking views. Upstairs is a spacious queen master suite with private en suite and a private terrace overlooking the waves. The third bedroom has 2 airy double beds and a private en suite.

Kitchen is fully equipped with Smeg and Bosch appliances and the handmade Guanacaste dining table, which. comfortably seats 8 guests. Laundry is located off the kitchen on the main floor.

Enjoy dinner on the expansive sundeck, ideal for 'al fresco' dining, sunbathing, and watching the sunset as you sip a glass of wine. Best of all, if you don’t feel like dining out, feel free to use the pizza oven located on the property. This is a fun choice, when you just want something simple and delicious.

AMAZING VIEWS

This home was beyond what we had anticipated. Very clean and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Plenty of space and all bedrooms have an ensuite. The pool and the views were magnificent!!!

Wonderful Vacation Home Overlooking the Beach!

What a great house!! Really couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. Well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable and clean. Pool was amazing. The neighborhood is gated and very safe. Check in was easy and manager was very responsive. Really no issues. We rented a golf cart and that made trips to town a breeze. No complaints at all, would definitely stay there again!

relaxing getaway and fun for the whole family

The house/property looked just like the listing with no surprises. There was plenty of room for us, our two adult children and one partner. Lots of common hangout space but also plenty of private space as well. The salt water pool was clean and the view from it was wonderful. We were well looked after by our concierge Kojak, property manager Cynthia, and our driver Yeremy became like one of the family. Any required maintenance was dealt with swiftly and efficiently and Cynthia always checked in to follow up with everything. We felt safe and very well looked after. The area was quiet and private, but close enough to the beach and within walking distance to shops. Everyone in our party thought the house was just perfect for our vacation.

Stunning villa

We recently had the opportunity of spending a week in this stunning villa. I will preface with this - pictures don’t do this place justice. Everything about this place is absolutely perfect - the house is beautifully designed, impeccably furnished and every meticulous detail has been attended to by the landlord. We are quite the discerning travellers and this place exceeded our expectations on every front. The views, the fully equipped kitchen, pizza oven, the Infiniti pool - anyone who visits will not want to leave. The managers were prompt in answering any questions and very accommodating. Thank you for hosting us.
