About this property

Longėre View Sea 3 bedrooms

We welcome our guests in the outbuildings of our family estate which is accessed by a private road. It is an old farmhouse made up of a residence of the XVIIeme century in which we reside in the year, of a square court and adjoining ribs.
Our longere consists of a large living area on the ground floor of 50 m2 with a living room with fireplace and a fully equipped dinning kitchen which can accommodate 8convives, fitted out 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 bedroom of 20 m2 with 1 bed of 160 and 1 bed of 90, 1 room of 15 m2 with 3 beds of 90 and 1 bed baby, 1 room of 18 m2 with 1 bed of 140) and 1 room of bath with 1 separated TOILET. At your disposal, you have a large garden with a large lawn, ancient trees, a private area with barbecue and table garden.
Not far from the Bay of Somme, you have many family activities, excursions.

Amazing value, lovely location

The place is a 3 bed converted barn with a lovely open fireplace and endless wood, great views over the enormous garden and lovely French furniture, a 2 minute walk from the sea and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen and bathroom was clean, although we shared the place with a few cobwebs. Our host left us warm apple cake and homemade jam and kindly brought us towels when we contacted her. We stayed in September for a few nights, with three kids (3-10) and 2 dogs. They had a lovely stay, there was plenty of space to run around. Our long weekend was very enjoyable and very good value.

'A little Disappointed'

We are from England and are used to slightly higher standards than this property offered. We felt deceived by the reviews as there was no cheese or cider waiting for us on arrival and the open fire had not been cleaned! Also, the 2nd picture is NOT of the house in which we stayed. There were neighbours 8 metres away living next door waking us up every morning at 6-7am starting their car engines and left them to idle for a few minutes before leaving...! Therefore, not so quiet and secluded as we expected...! Isabelle was a helpful lady who could not understand English but we happily communicated with Google translate when requesting a kettle and mugs that were missing and also replacement lightbulbs that were not working. The description states 'fitted out' but there was not a wardrobe or a chest of drawers in one of the bedrooms so we had to leave our clothes etc on the floor! The vacuum cleaner made a noise but there was no suction....! The bathroom door lock was not working and the toilet seat was loose and coming off the toilet. The bicycles were much appreciated but they were not maintained as the chains and seats were loose/coming off and also a flat tyre to one of them! There is a lot more that could be said but hopefully, this somewhat critical review will encourage 'preventative maintenance' and highlight different things that need to be rectified​ for future guests.....

l'accueil était chaleureux et la première impression bonne. Pendant les jours de notre séjour on a remarqué que le gîte a besoin d'être rénové (sol dans le WC, éclairage...). Nous étions contents de pouvoir allumer le feu le soir, puisque l'humidité nous donnait un sentiment inconfortable dans le salon. La place du gîte est formidable, près des falaises, grand jardin. Je suis d'avis que après quelques renovations, le gîte sera un bon endroit pour les vacances en famille.

De tuin zo dicht bij zee is fantastisch! Locatie dus een 10. Inrichting is behoorlijk gedateerd. We hadden mooi weer dus geen probleem maar als het regent is het wel aanmodderen. De slaapkamers zijn oké. De rest is aan een update toe. Hele aardige gastvrouw.

Schöne Ostern

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Unserem Hund ebenfalls. Viel Platz zum laufen. Die Unterkunft war rustikal was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Der offene Kamin war für abends super. Leider haben wir keinen direkten Zugang zum Meer gefunden. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette maison normande chargée d’histoire entourée de nature et où règne un calme olympien.Mer et campagne à portée de bottes en caoutchouc à prévoir … on est en Normandie il ne fait pas l’oublier !

Calme et nature

Très bon accueil et services de la part de la propriétaire. Chaleur et gourmandise à notre arrivée. Aménagement de la longère et Ustensiles cuisine, rien ne manque. Literie confortable, lit fait à notre arrivée. Petit bémol : noté dans l'annonce, un lit 160cm dans une chambre, nous avons eu des 140cm dans les 2. Manque un rideau de douche pour le confort. Mauvaise isolation acoustique entre les 2 locations Pas trop dérangeant pour nous, c'était notre dernière nuit. Dans l'ensemble, nous sommes satisfait de notre séjour, Nous avons eu le calme que nous recherchions et nos chiens ont bien profité de la propriété. Nous recommandons ce bel endroit de vacances.

Court séjour en famille

Trois jours de découverte des côtes autour du Treport, de Ault à Veules les Roses. Le gîte est idéalement situé sur le tracé du GR21. Nous avons pu satisfaire notre envie de marche et de jogging et visiter les sites touristiques sans faire trop de km en voiture. Nous avons aussi profité du grand jardin et d’odes couchers du soleil sur la mer.

Séjour bucolique famillial

Nous avons passé de formidable vacances dans cette charmante longère en bord de mer. Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil de la hôte qui ns a parfaitement conseillé sur les activités de la région. La maison était bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire pour bébé. Le plus de ce logement c'est que nous pouvons y faire des feux de cheminée, parfait pour les soirées un peu fraîche. Nous en sommes très satisfait et nous le conseillons vivement.

Logement très confortable dans une belle maison ancienne avec beaucoup de charme , très calme. Très bon accueil de la propriétaire, qui nous a fait un beau cadeau . Un grand terrain à côté pour les ados et le chat. Boulangerie au village et autres commerces pas loin. Nous avons découvert la côte entre Fécamp et la baie de Somme: villages, plages et les phoques! Excellent séjour.

La mer à quelque mètres

Accueil chaleureux et convivial. La propriétaire des lieux est à votre disposition pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Feu de bois préparé et pâtisserie pour agrémenter votre arrivée. Lieu idéal pour une famille, tout proche de la mer et des sentiers côtiers. A noter qu'il y a deux logements de vacances dans la propriété et non un seul comme l'annonce le laisse penser.
