Fantastic rental
A wonderful place to stay. It is dated, but it's clean, spacious and has just what you need. They even have board games you can use. Great location and close to many activities.
Location was the biggest factor for us, and the location was perfect, centrally located in the midst of all the area has to offer! The place offered several rooms to hang-out in and every living/bedroom had televisions with cable!
We would definitely stay again.
House is right off a very busy road. Just across the road you can walk to the beach. Private yard, and fire pit. The mattresses were on the very firm side. The water is hot. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Thank you for reviewing your stay, Daria. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at our home! While we understand that sleeping preferences vary widely, we are sorry to hear that the bed did not provide for a comfortable night of rest. We will also be sure to pass along your feedback regarding the water pressure to property manager so they can make any necessary updates to the home. We look forward to hosting you again!
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. Didn’t spend much time here as my relatives rented a huge house just down the street. This house was very cute and very clean. A little outdated but that gave a cottage feel.
We did not cook here but the kitchen was spacious. Beds were hard which I liked but my husband didn’t. We would definitely stay here again.
This place was a great space for us, 3 adults and 1 kid. It was SO clean and the location was great. Had lots of TVs and spaces for every one to do their own thing. Close to everything but on a quiet street. We loved the grill, picnic table and outdoor fireplace. The pictures didn't do the outdoor space justice. Only downside was we thought it had AC but it doesn't. Cell service around the lake isn't good, but wifi was great.

Hello Charissa,We make every effort to present clear, accurate descriptions of our homes in order for guests to make informed decisions on their rental choices. We encourage guests to reach out with any questions or concerns prior to booking, as we are happy to help. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
Definitely lived up to its name "Grandma cabin". Dated decor, but clean. Bedrooms were well done with comfortable beds (there were 2 queen beds and a bunk bed set). The yard is not fenced, so dogs must be leashed. The only complaint was the kitchen was not well stocked with even basic supplies. My advice is if you think you'll need it (like a bottle opener or wine glasses or even a frying pan) better bring it from home.

Nice House
Nice little house close to everything. Can't beat the price, but you get what you pay for. Looks as though they might be slowly updating some of the furniture.
Water pressure is low, but water gets really hot if you need it.
Not sure why the window AC Units were in the basement and not in the windows. It was cool enough that we didn't bother bringing them up. But not sure if we were even allowed to do so.
Speaking of the basement, it was extremely musty smelling that got worse with the humidity. It was almost unbearable at times.
The upstairs is nice and cozy. The beds were firm and comfortable. The firepit is a nice addition. The kitchen had enough pots, utensils, etc.
Overall my family felt comfortable and secure.

Could have been a contender
We had an acceptable stay. This is a solid house and needs so little to be a really great cheap alternative in deep creek. So many little things were broken or needed fixed. I had to purchase a Allen wrench set to tighten the bunk beds for my kids- they were listing at about a 10 deg angle and were so creaky they were possibly unstable. Most of the various towel bars and hooks are ready to fall off the wall. They list AC but it is window units (I suppose - the house is baseboard gas boiler heat) but they were pulled and it was 81and 82 degrees when we were there. If you can get this at a very low rate it is worth it. We were on the lake most of the day and when we came back to the kitchen it was solid to cook in except for the dishwasher. The dishwasher was not secured to the counter so it wanted to fall forward. Vacasa please fix these little items and make the house a great inexpensive rental.

It felt extremely homey. The basement had a very damp smell that was overwhelming. The neighbors were so friendly and we saw deer that came up to us. Are walks was peaceful. I enjoy being in deep creek that's my happy place.
This home is close to the lake, restaurants, state parks, e.t.c. it is an older out dated home So there are things that come with it being older. Smells trapped in carpet and furniture. You get alot of house for the price. The deck is a beautiful place to enjoy coffee in the morning and the cool breeze in the evening. We enjoyed our stay.
We liked staying at this location. The house was as described. Nothing fancy but everything available and location was great. We stayed Monday through Friday.
The weather was terrible, it rained 2 out of 5 days. Despite being a spring break week all activities for teens were closed. No ziplining, no boat riding, no ski resort. The only fun zone was also closed from Mon through Thursday. We ended up riding horses, mud riding, hiking, bowling, and movies.
The house is cozy but needs some updates. The sofa and chairs in the living room need to be seriously vacuumed and cleaned. I sat on the sofa the first day and was covered with white pet fur, probably a cat.
If you are a gamer, bring your own games as the house has PS only. Plenty of TV, we had no issues with hot or cold water, no issues with heating system. Pots and pans, kitchen utensils - everything was available for cooking. We couldn’t figure out how to use the outside grill.
Overall our stay was fine. I bet it’s great during summer, as it was a walking distance from the lake.

Great Home
We loved staying here.
Tons of room in the house, 2 bathrooms which is great, and a really nice yard.
Unfortunately, we didn't quite get to use the yard as much as we wanted to due to a rainy week, but we got a bit of use out of it.
The area is super nice, less than a mile from Arrowhead Market (a nice convenience store and gas station), 5 min away from the Deep Creek park, and 10 min away from the closest Walmart.

Enjoyed our stay for Autumn Glory
The house was just as advertised and reviewed. Quaint home in a convenient location in nice area to walk around. Didn't have any issues while we were there at all, everything was in working order and clean. There are a few things about the house that are typical of an older home but nothing that detracted from a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. With the mild weather we had this trip we enjoyed the gated deck out back, especially the dog, and the picnic table out front. Great value for the price! Would definitely stay here again!

Quaint
We had a lovely time. House is comfortable and basement functioned as a "granny flat" in reverse. Young adults and 1 pet in the basement and geriatrics stayed upstairs with other pet. Nearby trails was great for youth.
