Oceanfront Condominium with Balcony, Pool and Boar

Hodnett Cooper Vacation Rentals is pleased to offer this two-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront residence at Shipwatch. The Shipwatch community is located oceanfront on St. Simons Island on a desirable stretch of beach between Massengale Park and the historic Coast Guard Station. Shipwatch has been a favorite family destination for many years. And with just 52 residences, Shipwatch is a quiet community for weekend getaways or a comfortable snowbird destination during coastal Georgia's mild winter months.

Community amenities include private boardwalk access to the beach, swimming pool, large grass lawn and outdoor grills.

Each vacation rental residence features two bedrooms, two full baths, a combined living, dining, and kitchen area and a private balcony. Shipwatch #302 is located on the top floor with a partial ocean view. This residence features hardwood floors in the living, dining and kitchen areas, carpet in both bedrooms and tile floors in the baths. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops plus additional cabinets installed for increased storage. The living room and master bedroom have flat screen televisions with cable and the guest bedroom features a standard television with a dvd player only, no cable. All three areas have ceiling fans for comfort. The master bath has been upgraded with a glass enclosed, tiled walk-in shower with seat.

Shipwatch 302 also has it's own dedicated internet line for its guest convenience.

Awesome stay!

Staying at the SeaWatch property reminded me of what a real vacation should be. We loved the layout of the room and the security of the property. Our only disappointment was the vegetation and mosquitoes between the property and the beach. Would love to stay here again!

Summer vaca

Great Location

The location of this condo is wonderful. The beach is a long walk, but the walk is very beautiful. The pool is very nice with beautiful landscaping around it. I liked the security of the complex getting in and out from parking and coming back from the beach. The condo itself is outdated, but it was fully stocked and very tidy. It feels like whoever owns it actually stays in it sometimes. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be interested in staying again.

Very impressive property, in many ways

First impressions are always important and this property gives a great first impression. The “boardwalk look” of the unit access is very cool and you get a nice look at the ocean as you approach the front door. We are closet germ-o-phobes and we were quite impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of this place. The property management team was very thorough and clear with all their instructions which enabled us to focus on our vacation activities and not on accommodation logistics. Definitely will consider this place on our next trip to St Simon Island.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at #302. There were only two things that prevented a perfect vacation- the mattress in the master bedroom was unbelievably hard- if you don't enjoy a firm mattress you better bring some kind of cushioning. I also brought my elderly mother on our trip and the beach was too far away for her to walk, so she only got to enjoy the beach once. If you have anyone who is unable to walk any great distance, this is not the place for you. Everything else was wonderful!

It was fine but probably wouldn’t stay again. The air conditioners could not keep up with the heat. The fan in the queen bedroom made a lot of noise. The table seem to be stuck to the floor so it couldn’t be moved out to give more room.
