About this property

House by the sea and in the countryside

Charming Normandy house located 4 km from the sea in a pretty hamlet. The house, which sleeps 8, is surrounded by a magnificent 2500m² garden with a pond. Situated in a very quiet area, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Normandy countryside and seaside. The 130m² house is ideally located near the magnificent harbour of Saint Germain sur Ay, halfway between Mont Saint Michel and the Pointe de la Hague. The D-Day landing beaches are not far away, and there are plenty of opportunities for day trips.
The immense surrounding beaches are perfect for swimming and hiking in the dunes to discover this splendid coastline. Sports enthusiasts can also try their hand at sand yachting, for which the Bretteville club is just 4km away. The region is ideal for sailing, paddle and kite surfing. When the tides are high, you can go fishing on foot.
The comfortable house has 4 bedrooms upstairs, 2 of which each have a 160cm bed, 1 with a 140cm bed and one with bunk beds. There are two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The garden is fully fenced and can accommodate pets.
There is a swing, several libraries of books for children and adults, board games and a TV with TNT.
The housework is either to be done by the tenants or must be requested at an additional cost (50€). Bed linen is not provided.

Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Haus. Ein sehr netter Empfang! Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß, komplett umzäunt und ideal für Familien mit Hund geeignet. Die nächsten Geschäfte und Gastronomie befinden sich 5 Autominuten in Saint Germain sur Ay. Dort befindet sich auch gleich ein wunderschöner weitläufiger Strand. In Bretteville sur Ay kann man das Strandsegeln probieren. Ein schöner Spaß ab 8 Jahre mit 30 Euro pro Stunde und Person. Wer viel Natur mit viel Freiheit und sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Einwohnern möchte, ist an diesem Fleckchen Erde genau richtig!

Mein Mann und ich waren mit unserem Hund angereist. Der Empfang war super nett und wir wurden erst mal freundlich herumgeführt. Das Haus ist groß, sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das schönste ist der Garten, er ist sehr groß, gepflegt und wunderschön. Man wohnt dort sehr abgelegen, aber in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto ist man am Strand und in ca 20 Minuten bei den großen Supermärkten. In den Betten haben wir gut geschlafen. Ansonsten waren wir nur draußen, eine große Markise sorgt auf der Terrasse für ausreichenden Sonnenschutz und wenn es Abends kühler wurde, haben wir uns auf der Terrasse einen kleinen "Inka-Ofen" angefeuert. Wer es lieber etwas feiner haben will, der ist hier falsch. Es ist eher ein wenig rustikal, was für Reisende mit Hund und/oder Kindern bestimmt auch viel angenehmer ist. Alles ist sauber und wie in der Beschreibung abgebildet. Unser Hund hatte auch wunderbare Ferien, da das Grundstück gut eingezäunt ist und er jeden Tag seine "Rundgänge" machen konnte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank auch an die Vermieter für den netten Kontakt.

Was für eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem besonderen Haus!Wir waren zu viert mit meinen 2 Hunden. Der Empfang durch Yves und Jaqueline war ausgesprochen Herzlich. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Der Garten mit den vielen Bäumen und den schönen blühenden Stauden war großartig! Komplett eingezäunt war es für die Hunde ein Traum, aber selbst ohne wäre in diesem netten kleinen Ort nichts passiert. Auch ausserhalb des Grundstücks waren Leinen nicht nötig. Wir waren sehr erfreut, dass das die 3 Schlafzimmer alle mit normalen Doppelbetten ausgestattet waren, nicht wie auf einem Foto mit Hochbett und nur das Kinderzimmer mit Hochbett und einem Einfachen 90er Bett war...Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Klar sind auch viele Sachen in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr ganz in Ordnung aber es war alles da, was man braucht. Wer es modern und pingelig sauber mag, ist hier vielleicht nicht ganz richtig, aber wer es wie wir, Besonders und mit viel Charme und viel Natur mag, ist am absolut richtigen Platz. Vielen Dank liebe Familie Cornali, dass wir diese besondere Zeit bei ihnen verbringen durften.

Wunderschöne Normandie

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Es gibt einen wunderschönen, sehr großen Garten. Nicht nur das Haus ist Hundefreundlich sondern die ganze Region. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist sehr gut. Ziegenkäserei mit Streichelmöglichkeit ist gleich ums Eck. Ohne Auto geht es dann aber doch nicht, weil die Einkäufe in Lessay oder La Haye stattfinden, was aber kein Problem ist, da man mit einem Angereist ist ;-) Viele französische Bücher und Spiele für die Kinder, waren super.Alles in Allem was es ein Urlaub zum Empfehlen.

Ruhige Lage in schöner Umgebung

Schöne ruhige Lage abseits mit ein paar anderen Häusern. Riesiger Garten geschlossen, war perfekt mit unserem Hund. Das Haus hat grosse Zimmer und viel Ausstattung die auch einen schönen Eindruck machen.

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans cette charmante maison. Le propriétaire est disponible et très gentil. Ainsi que la personne qui nous a reçue sur place ! Un séjour en Normandie avec le passage de la tempête Ciaran au milieu de la semaine... d'où un déroulé de séjour un peu inattendu. Schönes Haus mit wirklich tollem Garten

Es war für uns ideal. Grosser Garten, komplett eingezäunt. Unsere Hündin hatte ihren Spass dort. Nachbarn vorne waren auch sehr freundlich, der Kontakt beschränkte sich auf winken, wenn man mit dem Auto das Haus verließ. Vorne geht die Zufahrt zwischen zwei Häusern auf das Tor zu, seitlich ist eine Pferdekoppel der direkte Nachbar. Bis auf wenige Lücken in der Bepflanzung ist der Garten zudem uneinsehbar. Nicht dass dort jemand wäre, der gucken würde...Netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, vor Ort betreut das Haus jemand anderes, auch dieser Kontakt war sehr freundlich. Im Haus ist alles was man braucht vorhanden, küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, Radio und TV funktionierten, es gab eine Playstation, welche wir nicht ausprobiert haben, Wasser kalt/warm/Dusche alles ok, Gekocht wird auf Gas mit Flasche, eine Ersatzflasche wäre vor Ort gewesen, würde aber nicht benötigt. Kurze Autofahrt zum nächstgelegenen Strand von ca. 7-10 Minuten. Rundherum gibt es die ganze Woche immer einen Markt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Haus könnte etwas renoviert werden ,war aber alles soweit ok die Küche hat eine super Ausstattung , es gab wirklich fast alles auch an Geräten. Der Garten ist ein Traum. Es liegt allerdings relativ einsam, das muss man mögen.

Zwei Wochen Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit

Der Empfang von Dylan war freundlich, er hatte uns alles gezeigt. Das Haus ist sehr groß und der Garten mit Teich riesig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen. Mit dem Auto ist alles schnell (Einkauf, Strand) zu erreichen, aber zu Fuß ist es zu weit. Auf Wünsche oder Fragen wurde umgehend reagiert und soweit alles organisiert. Der Besitzer selbst wohnt nicht selber dort, ist aber wohl ab und zu vor Ort. Mit dem Teich gibt es im Moment Probleme die der Hausherr aber angehen will. Im Haus müssten ein paar Schönheitsreparaturen erledigt werden und eine Grundreinigung wäre mal notwendig. Auf dem Grundstück sollten eine Ecken mal aufgeräumt werden. Aber alles keine großen Sachen und wir können das Haus für einen Urlaub empfehlen. Wir waren mit Hund dort.

Super séjour!

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour dans la maison de Manuel. L'accueil et la communication est impeccable y compris en cas de problème. La situation géographique est parfaite pour profiter de la plage et des alentours. Nous recommandons fortement cette location. Petit bémol sur le ménage dans certaines pièces mais rien d'alarmant. :)

Schöne Ecke. Strand ist nicht weit. Alles gut mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Das Haus liegt schön ruhig und der Strand ist nicht weit weg. Zu Fuß ist es dann allerdings zum Strand dann noch etwas zu weit. Aber einmal da, ist es wirklich ein schöner Strand, denn wir nicht mit vielen Teilen mussten. Hunde am Strand war auch überhaupt kein Problem. Der Garten, der rund ums Haus geht ist super ein riesen Spaß für Kinder und Hunde.

Séjour agréable, au calme

Maison conforme à la description, emplacement au calme et jardin très agréable et bien tenu. Il y a beaucoup de livres adultes et enfants, des dvds et des jeux sur place et la cuisine est bien équipée (manque peut être cuillères en bois ou grandes spatules pour touiller !). Pour que la maison soit parfaite, il manque le WiFi (mais la couverture 4g est bonne dans la maison). Le pommeau de la douche de l'étage pourrait être remplacé. Un grand merci au propriétaire pour avoir mis à disposition son piano numérique.
