This charming little pale blue building is typical of old Lisbon.
It is composed of 3 apartments.
ESTEVAO II is a studio of 25 m² fully equipped.
* a room with a large bed for 2 persons (or 2 beds 1 person of your choice) and a bathroom.

You can visit many of Lisbon's sights on foot in less than 15 minutes and transport (bus, taxi, train station, tram ...) are all within 5 minutes.

Lovely compact little flat in quiet location

A small compact flat up a narrow flight of stairs but welcoming, clean and characterful. Ideal location in heart of Alfama. Very helpful personal guidebook to Lisbon provided in room. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay here.

Perfect location for visiting Lisbon

The apartment is petite and just what we needed whilst in Lisbon. It is in the perfect spot and very easy to get to from public transport. The only issue we did have was that there was a little noise at night given that it is located in a bustling neighbourhood (and in particular given we arrived during a month of street festivals) and the head of one of the beds (which are two beds joined into a king) was broken so it was completely sunken at one end. We did otherwise very much enjoy the homeliness of Francesca’s apartment.

An excellent location cobblestone streets easy access to reasonably priced cafe and restaurants bars. You need to have a good level of fitness to take full advantage of the myriad of lanes , stairs and view points that are on offer here. Communication with the property owner Florence was via the Vrbo app , her response time to our questions was timely and appropriate. Florence provided a informative and accurate concierge booklet . It is advisable to take an umbrella when visiting Lisbon !

A lot of stairs to get to the property. To get to the third floor apartment, there are three flights of very narrow stairs. This made it very difficult to get our luggage up and down. Very small shower but water pressure was excellent. Outside pedestrian noise easily heard from inside apartment. Nice apartment close to many activities but the stairs were an issue for us.

Never Again!

The only good thing about this flat is the nice location! For the rest it was one of the worst experiences we had. As soon as we entered we immediately noticed the bad smell and realized that there was mould and dampness in the walls. It was really hard to breathe! So we had to sleep with the windows open. But because of the central location, there was a lot of noise and it was impossible to sleep. The flat is dirty, that dirt which accumulates over time when you don't clean it well and which you can't get rid of with a superficial cleaning. Communication with the owner was quite difficult because she doesn't live in Portugal and because she doesn't speak English but uses google translate as she said. it's really a pity because the flat has potential but it needs renovation

Die Wohnung extrem eng, nur zum Schlafen geeignet. Extrem laut tags und nachts.

Nur geeignet für wenige Tage. Extrem eng, kein Platz für die Koffer usw. Schlafen nur mit Ohrstöpsel möglich. Das Bett war ok. Die zweite Decke allerdings mit Löchern und der Bezug viel zu groß, sodass die Decke ständig rausfiel. Die Kaffeemaschine war nicht zu benutzen, da total verkalkt. Für eine Tasse Kaffee brauchte man eine halbe Stunde. Es gab auch keine Filtertüten und nicht mal einen Lappen zum Tisch abwischen. Normalerweise sind solche Dinge vorhanden. Bisher hatte ich in Portugal nur gute Erfahrungen mit Ferienwohnungen. Diese kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen.

Está bien comunicado, no obstante, no tiene aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador de torre sucio que apenas funciona y el lavabo es muy muy pequeño. A parte de esto, tuvimos problemas a la hora de pagar el alojamiento, ya que expedia solo hace de intermediario entre booking y el propietario. Y en lugar de cobrarte ellos y luego hacer lo que tengan que hacer como intermediario, te hacen a ti bajarte una app para pagar al propietario directamente. (No me parece bien que no se avise de esto).

Trop bruyant

L'appartement est bien situé, bien équipé, mais il était trop petit. Le vrai souci était qu'il était extrêmement sonore, on entendait les conversations des personnes en dessous, des jeunes qui en plus étaient très très bruyants, nous avons même du intervenir pour qu'ils se calment. Et l'appartement situé au dessus était très mal insonorisé aussi, on entendait tous les pas résonner chez nous. A la fin du séjour une famille avait loué les deux appartements, nous étions entre les deux, et ils se parlaient à 22h à travers l'escalier... Bref les boules Quiès qui étaient sur nos tables de nuit a5notre arrivée, mauvais signal, on confirmé que la location est faite en connaissance de cause. Et ont confirmé leur nécessité. Très mauvaises nuits et aucune intimité. Donc mauvais souvenir. Nous ne recommanderons pas cette location.

Logement bien situé dans l Alfama. Immeuble très ancien avec trois locations (pas d'insonorisation , on entend tout à travers le parquet) et lieux de fête à proximité. Malgré les boules quies fournis par la propriétaire, les nuits peuvent être difficiles.

Fantastic location

This flat’s strength is its location: right inside the Alfama district, a warren of narrow streets packed with great and interesting restaurants, shops and people’s homes. You cannot drive to the front door, so be prepared to haul your suitcases uphill for awhile. It was easy enough, but uphill is uphill. At the time, our hosts were out of town, which can effect response time if something goes wrong. It is a lively area — which we loved — but it never got too loud or prevented us from sleeping. Upon our arrival, the flat was very clean and we found an AMAZING book of important information on everything: how to use public transport, important phone numbers, grocery store locators, places to shop and recommend restaurants and dishes to order. That book is quite the achievement and was super useful. This flat is a good value and staying there will give you an authentic Alfama experience.

Le lit est bon mais l’apparte ment est tellement petit que 2 valises par terre ne permettent plus de bouger. L’equipement general est faible. Beaucoup de bruit à l’intérieur et à l’exterieur de l’immeuble. Lisbonne est une ville super et notre séjour reste agréable grâce à elle.
