Beautiful stay! Pat and Carmen are lovely hosts and the property was made to roam. The home has wonderful energy and the grounds have been loved and nurtured with small seating areas and beautiful gardens. Wonderful guests! Heidi and Jason were excellent guests to host . We highly recommend them. They took great care of the property and made it their own with ease. Their dog is delightful. They enjoyed touring the grounds, experienced the cooler night air on the decks and left the Casa Carmen clean as could be. 5 star guests.

Casa Carmen is a magical cabin that looks like it was transported from the Alps. Lovingly built by the owner and his children, no architectural detail was overlooked. It is filled with beautiful art work, comfortable furnishings, and every amenity you might need as well as those you never knew you needed! The large, east-facing roof deck offers exquisite views of the mountains and agricultural fields of rural northern New Mexico. Serenity score 11 out of 10…and we never even made it to the hot tub! The hosts, Carmen and Pat, are gracious and, living next door, they are easily available to answer questions — and at the same time, they are so attuned to the privacy of their guests that you’d never know they’re there. Casa Carmen is an easy 5-minute drive into the village of Arroyo Seco, where you will find fine dining, a casual eatery or two, epic ice cream…and an organic market if you want to cook at home.
Hands down the most eccentric and memorable vacation host we’ve ever experienced. Pat and Carmen have a special connection with the community and it is intimately conveyed in detail throughout the property. We also appreciated the proximity to the key places we wanted to visit, downtown Taos, as well as Taos Ski Valley.

This wonderful family gets 5 stars for their regard for the property taking advantage of all the special amenities and making it their own home away from home! Very special Christmas guests and the loved the tree for their presents… they said so! Thanks and best wishes! Pat and Carmen
I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It's in a beautiful and quiet location. They have a huge yard with lots of little seating areas all over that are perfect for relaxing. I also enjoyed getting to spend time with their pets. The stars at night from the hot tub were definitely a highlight for me! Carmen was incredibly welcoming and had dinner waiting for me when I arrived. She had great suggestions on hikes and places to check out. I also appreciated the parking spot at their gallery in town. Definitely don't skip a gallery tour! Pat and their son are very talented artists. I'll be back for sure! This is a special place.

Allison has been a first class guest throughout her 4 day stay!
She appreciated the check in and out procedures book, information on Town of Taos, took a tour of the property and treated it like her own during her stay. We would recommend her to all Hosts and definitely welcome her here anytime!
My friend and I spent our spring break here and loved our stay! Pat and Carmen were lovely hosts who ensured we were well taken care of throughout the entirety of our trip. Their property is truly magical! We made sure to stay put for a day so we could enjoy the many cozy spots outside. We loved the swings, the hot tub, the rooftop patio for lunch and the second rooftop patio for sunset, all with a mountain backdrop and wind chime soundtrack. The interior of the property is artsy and inviting; very much a great place to unplug from your phone and unwind. Also very close to Taos! We were only minutes from downtown and were able to dine and shop easily. If you're looking for a welcoming, eclectic stay near Taos, this is it!
