Your Home Away From Home

Cozy private bedroom with bath in lower level of home. Queen size bed with memory foam mattress & adjustable base. The room can also accommodate 2 extra guests with a full sized sofa bed, for a total of 4 guests.

Smart TV with internet access in bedroom, free guest WiFi and access to private sauna to relax at the end of the day. Guests have use of game room & lounge area for your leisure. Direct access to private back yard to enjoy the weather.

Home is in a residential area at the end of a cul-a-dac. Easy access to the U-Med district, shopping, movie theaters, bike trails, parks and Cheney Lake Park.

1 Dog also lives in the home, however she will not have access to guest areas.

Alaska return

I was stationed in Anchorage from 1989-1993 and fell in love with the place. It was amazing to return over 30 years later. I'm still in love and will be back!The AB&B was exactly as advertised and we were invited to a Memorial day cook out by the hosts. They are great too.

A cozy stay

A great stay that is super close to a main road meaning we could get to most places we wanted to go within 30mins or less. The inclusion of bathroom items that may have been forgotten was a wonderful touch. It was a wonderful place and I'm glad we stayed here.

Lovely place to stay!!

Beautiful place in a wonderful, safe, neighborhood. Looks even better than the pictures. Huge space, yet still nice and cozy. Humongous bathroom with extra-large shower. Delightful hosts who were very responsive while still giving us all the privacy we wanted. Definitely would love to stay here again!!

Very impressed on the property and host. Stayed a weeked. Very quiet, comfortable, clean and well maintained. Host were very pleasant and accommodating. My wife and I highly recommended this property. Five stars.

Great stay

The check in and check out process was seamless. The location were great and the place was exceptionally clean. Kiddos really enjoyed the old school arcade games and we enjoyed a few games of pool. Close to restaurants and served as a good base for day trips from Anchorage. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful space, great getaway

Great stay with great hosts, had a blast at their place. Clearly geared to making the guest experience great with the sauna, pool table, and games. Only hesitancy to suggesting to all family/friends was that the heating system right above bedroom (we think it was the baseboards at least) was loud kicking on upstairs woke us up many times. Outside of that it was an amazing location and stay.

Great location

Perfect location in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Easy access to both the Glenn and Seward Hwy's, and also Elmendorf (I went up for the Arctic Thunder air show). Although I didn't use the sauna, arcade games or pool table, the place was roomy, spotless and had a comfy adjustable bed and a great bathroom. A large grocery store was also a very short drive. I would definitely make this my home base for a future stay.

Nice place but lacks security

The property was clean and well appointed. However, it is the basement of an occupied home. As such, you enter through a private door in the rear of the property. The problem was there was no walkway for the first part of the walk back. You need to be prepared to carry you bag across the grass as it would not roll. Then, once you’re through the gate you have stepping stones which were not much better. Once inside, you are required to take your shoes off. Finally, the bedroom was comfortable and clean, but there was no way to lock the door. This would not be as big an issue, except the only separation between the occupied upstairs was a staircase with a curtain at top and bottom. If I were a single woman I would not feel comfortable staying here. I suggest installing a door to the stairs and/or proper locks to the sleeping area.

Great space and value. Plenty of room, VERY clean, cozy, & quiet! Host added a lot of extra features to make the space comfy and appealing. Spacious bedroom/bathroom with AMAZING closet, fun game room features. Nice, QUIET neighborhood. I'm going to miss 2410 and Anchorage.

Awesome stay! Host went above and beyond

My husband and I loved staying here! Yvette and her family did an amazing job with the living space. It looked just like the pictures. It was clean, had plenty of extra amenities like coffee, a bed that can be adjusted with a remote control, walk-in closet, and many more! She communicated where to park and how to enter the house very clearly. She was very kind to let us borrow a cooler that we requested to take food on some day trips. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back on any future trips. Thank you to you and your family, Yvette!

Nice secluded rental

Great place to stay. Relaxed and peaceful. This is a basement rental of a family home. It was nice to Come back to rental and relax. While there was the occasional pitter patter of dog paws and cat hops . It didn’t bother me one bit. I rarely heard the homeowner and when I did it wasn’t that loud. After all, I was in their home. Great place for a pit stop for my excursions around anchorage for the week. Hosts were kind and friendly when I did see them. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay

It is a good, safe neighborhood, but not real close to any restaurants. Very clean, had everything you would need. Suggest that they put some light roast coffee in the room and not all dark roast. Loved her tea box in the little kitchen. Walk down to the room from the driveway could use some paver stones. Loved that she puts tour guide pamphlets in the suit in case you don’t have all your plans of what to do. Owner was very nice and helpful.highly recommend.

We are life long Alaskans who enjoy our wonderful state. We like to keep active in the summer time with camping, fishing and outdoor events. We are down to earth, family oriented people. We enjoy spending time with our adult children and grandchild any chance we get.

Why they chose this property

We choose to purchase our home because it was unique to our families needs. We have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Once we became empty nesters we didn't want to downsize because we cater to visiting family and friends. We enjoy the neighborhood and love the cul-da-sac that our home is in due to the low traffic and quiet area.

What makes this property unique

Our downstairs basement was recently updated and allows for fresh accommodations. The spacious room and bathroom allow for our guest to stretch out and relax. Our guests enjoy an occasional game of pool and lounging in the common areas for extra relaxation.
