With a beautiful view of Lake Arenal, our LakeGardens villas have so much to offer ! An intimate 5 villa complex where houses are set within large gardens in a small, safe gated community overlooking the mystical Lake Arenal. The property is tropically landscaped and there are many exotic trees, plants and colorful flower. These make it a perfect place for bird and wildlife watching. Species such as parrots, toucans, hummingbirds or monkeys can be seen on the daily basis. The brand new fully equipped villas includes one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with granite counter tops, living area and private veranda with sitting area. Comfortable queen size bed in the bedroom and double XL bed plus sofa bed in the living, each villa sleeps up to 5 people. Breakfast and other meals can be ordered and delivered to the patio or a pool deck.
Barely a few steps away from these cozy homes is a beautiful, long swimming pool, equipped with water jets and color changing lights for the after sunset romantic stay. Next to the pool is a spacious rancho where you can relax with your friends and family… The LakeGardens villas can sleep up to four people.

The place is also very conveniently set at a walking distance to Arenal town or lake park. Only 5 min walk to the famous German Bakery, adjacent authentic Italian restaurant, or other restaurants, bars and shops nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at LakeGardens. The villa was supplied with everything we needed. The location was amazing, felt secluded, but an easy drive into town when needed. Property is beautiful and has wildlife. Check-in and out was easy and communication was great. Marcela provided us with ideas for activities and shared some property photos!

Our stay was relaxing and quiet away from the tourist area La Fortuna. The casita is in the middle of nature with great views and sounds of various species. Marcela and her daughter were accomodating and provided everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Nice, individual cottages in Nuevo Arenal

We enjoyed our stay at one of the several cottages. It was peaceful and so green with many birds. We had easy access to restaurants and groceries driving or walking. The kitchen had all amenities needed and the garden and front porch were very nice. We loved driving and exploring the area and even drove to Tenorio National Park one day.

This property is as described. We enjoyed our two nights there. The gardens and view are beautiful and the accommodation was clean and simple. Marcela was helpful with local information. I recommend Cafe Italia for dinner…only a five minute drive away.

Excellent home away from home!

We loved our little villa! Within an hour’s drive to most of the area attractions, and Marcela and her family were very welcoming hosts. The location was just far enough away from the La Fortuna area to not feel so touristy, but within a mile or so of the nearest town (Nuevo Arenal). Breakfast was so good we ordered it two of the four mornings we were there! They provided us with a list of suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and we took them up on some of the suggestions. Lake Arenal is beautiful, and only a short walk or drive (<5 minutes) gets you down to the water with a nice park.

We’ll be back!

We spent 3 nights at Lake Gardens in February, 2023. Marcela is a warm and friendly host who made us feel welcome from our first contact through VRBO. Our Casa was very clean and well equipped. The grounds are immaculate and the birds are incredible. We especially liked the breakfast made to order delivered to us at the time of our choosing. We look forward to staying at Lake Gardens on our next trip to Nuevo Arenal.

Lake Arenal therapy

Lovely place to stay overlooking the lake. Well maintained and manicured property. Wake up to the sounds of nature - birds and monkeys. Our hosr was always available and willing to help with anything. We'll stay here again next time we go to Costa Rica.

LakeGardensStay

Great location, close to town and within 1.5 hr drive to several great excursions (Marcella recommended) on both sides of Lake Arsenal. Lots of birds on the property. Very pleasant stay, nice breakfasts on your porch each morning, and very clean swimming pool. No complaints. Would stay there again.
