Family vacation

Management very easy to work with Condo clean and safe even though somewhat dated. Kitchen equipped for short term stay but a few more items needed for long term. We were disappointed there was no lounge on balcony as pictured

Great room and complex!

Condo was clean and spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is well supplied with everything you need, except for our favorite cast iron skillet we always bring with us. On site staff are friendly and helpful. Just for info sake the top bunk is for 100 lb or lesser. Four Star agency is great to work with and they even called us the day before arrival to make sure we had room number, door code and to see if we needed anything before our trip.

The property was really nice.The room was nice. However the elevators were terrible spent most of our time waiting on them. The employees were very rude, made us feel like we were a burden on them. check in was unacceptable. we will find other lodging on our next visit to PCB

We had a fantastic time! We felt safe at this resort with the wrist bands. It was pretty clean. The view was absolutely amazing. Loved the parking garage and walk across bridge to get into the hotel. Loved that when we went down to the beach it was literally right there. My husband and I woke to watch the sunrise and seen dolphins from the balcony literally 40 -50 yards from shore right in front of our balcony. We ran to wake the kids up to see them. Definitely will be returning in the future!!

Family vacation

The place was clean. An elevator broke and made the trips down even longer. The bed could use a new mattress it was rough. Figured out the dryer worked better on the number side then the word side. Kids loved the indoor pool. The weather was not our friend this trip and the outdoor pool could have used some heat as it was too cold for June.

Perfect long weekend get away! Great view of the ocean. Like many others mention, the only complaint is the elevators in the building. Many werent wirking properly or the buttons werent lighting up so we ended up not standing there waiting since we werent sure it was working. And since you regularly wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator, it wasnt eirth risking. This isnt this specific owners fault though.

Not as clean as should be

The bowls were put back in the cabinet with food still in them. The bed was very uncomfortable. Felt like it was broke and shifted to the center.

May of 2024 trip (Tide water beach resort)

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was nice and clean. The elevators are horrible at tide water beach resort, when we arrived to check in 4 of the 7 elevators were out of service! Waiting over an hour for an elevator is horrible! The staff told us this was the case due to heavy traffic not have 4 elevator out of service, once I was settled in I dug into previous review written reviews and this has been the case for several years! Everyday was a struggle with the elevators! I highly recommend not staying at Tide water and if you do stay try and get the lowest floors so you can take the stairs. As far as four star condo service I had no issues.

The dryer takes forever on clothes and it looked like the cleaning people did a rush job before we got there, dirty wash cloths still in shower we did not report it , it was not a big deal . The management company was super nice when I talked to them in the beginning but the day before check in I dealt with a very rude employee , not sure if it was an off day for her or what . We like the area of condo and have stayed here before but through a different company .

Elevators were terrible!

Everyone seemed to be checking in at the same time, so the process was very slow and stressful. Also, we were unable to get in our room until after 4:00 and with the issues with the elevators being so slow, it was actually 5 o'clock before we finally entered the room with our luggage in tow. As a result, our first paid day at the beach and being able to go out and enjoy the beach was a huge disappointment.

Perfect location- condo needs updated- elevators are horrible

Property is in perfect location- walking distance to shops, fishing and right on beach. Great view from 9th floor balcony. Condo was clean- with exception of dust build up on ceiling fans- we got showered with dust when we turned them on. Unit needs updated. Washer/drier combo probably needs replaced, lint trap was broken and drier door is hard to close. Someone was doing room construction a few floors above us and we was woken early in mornings by jackhammering sounds from above. Check in was simple and fast after pre-registering online. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach clean. Elevators were horrible. Wait times extravagant and it is not even full blown vacation season yet. 2 elevators were out of service the entire week making it worse. With 30 stories it was hard to catch an elevator not too full to catch a ride up or down. With weekly rent as high as it is- it shouldn’t be an issue to keep elevators running or to update as needed. Overall- with a little updating and better elevators and elevator upkeep we had a great stay. We love visiting area and have stayed at tidewater 3 times now for the proximity of things to do and great beach access.

Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have come to Panama City Beach for several years staying at somewhere different each year. We were there 2 weeks and for the first week we were in 2301. It was great. The second week 903. Not so great. Master bathroom stool wouldn’t shut off. Sink kept running. I called Four Star the second day to report it and they said someone would be out to fix it. Never happened. Dishwasher only worked part of the time. I called again and left a message and someone called back the evening before we were leaving. At that point I felt, what the use. I tried. Cabinets had tape on them. Vacuum didn’t work. This unit was way over priced. Not worth what I paid.

Nasty!

Reviewer Comments: The condo was dirty ( Someone just went over it with a wet mop) we took are shoes off and ur feet was black when we went put Sandals on. there was dishes still in the dishwasher. The couch bed still had sheets and blankets from the time before on it . ( was not clean ) There was a clean pack of sheets on top of the couch so I know it was not clean . The lightbulbs in the kitchen was blown. The master bedroom the king size bed still had sheets on it from time before sand all in the bed on the sheets. When I made it down so I know the sheets were not clean and fresh like they were supposed to be. We came down for my daughter‘s 13th birthday. I thought it was supposed to be a happy and fun event but it was not very pleasant at all. I paid the extra $50 to get in there 1 o’clock but from 1 o’clock on we were cleaning to try to get the place right.

A perfect getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 5 nights and were very pleased! The place is gorgeous and the view is incredible. They supply everything you should need in the kitchen, everything smelled clean when you walked in & they even provided extra blankets if you needed them. The only thing that I would recommend is changing the thermostat batteries because it was freezing and we couldn’t adjust the temperature and the sheet for the futon mattress was a struggle to use, so maybe getting a bigger size? Other than those 2 things everything else was great! 😊
