Villa Coco, a charming stopover in Deshaies.

Made entirely of wood in shimmering colors, in the middle of a flower garden, it is composed of 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink, a living room, a fitted kitchen opening onto a large sheltered terrace. A pretty swimming pool of 7.5m by 3.5m, secured by an alarm, borders the villa.

Home away from home

We spent a wonderful week in Villa Coco, using it as a base of operations for hiking and scuba diving and beach walking. Our host was wonderfully attentive, meeting us at the property to give us keys and show us around. We used their recommendation for dining and hiking, and used the house for in between meals. Kitchen was fully functional, AC bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and space was perfect for 4 adults. A week was too short a visit!

Winter Escape

We were late in arrival, due to car delays but Thierry was still there waiting for us to show us the wonderful tropical escape from the snow at home. The accommodations were exactly as shown, the bedroom’s comfy and roomy. The kitchen was spacious and had all working appliances. We did not spend much time indoors due to warmth inside bedrooms only air conditioning.Outside under awning was our standard place when not out discovering - good suggestions give by host! Pool very comfortable & needed after a day out.We really enjoyed our stay “5” stars.Suggestions - upgrade barbecue, charcoal chimney starter & a flood motion light up driveway would be helpful.Thank you for the wonderful stay

Belle maison avec stationnement, piscine et accès à l'hôtel Fort Royal à pied. Bonne communication avec l'agence de location . Un bémol cependant concernant la chaleur dans la journée, 2/3 air climatisé murale ne fonctionne pas bien et sont seulement dans les chambres, nous étions un couple et nous avons occupé celle avec l'air climatisé qui fonctionnait. le ventilateur sur pied pour le séjour qui fonctionnait à peine. Pas de ventilateur au plafond. Si vous voulez vous réfugier sous la véranda le soir pas de ventilateur au plafond et que des chaises droites et 1 hamac autrement dit pas de comfort . Lors de notre séjour il y avait grève à Fort Royal et le soir c'est la musique et des speach syndicales à fond la caisse. Je ne suis pas intéressée à relouer cette maison.

un bel endroit très bien situé !

La première qualité de la Villa Coco est son emplacement. On trouve une plage à 5 minutes de marche et tous les services à mois de 15 minutes de voiture. La cuisine est bien équipée, toutes les chambres sont d'une bonne grandeur et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine. Si l'occasion se présente, nous serions ravis d'y retourner !

Great Vacation

Villa Coco is a perfect home to visit Guadeloupe and the western side of the island. We were greeted promptly by Thierry the home's caretaker upon our arrival. He showed us around and made sure we settled in. The pool is inviting and receives great sun and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. Villa Coco's outside areas are wonderful, we spent many hours on the covered porch playing games, listening to music or enjoying a meal. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The bedrooms are air conditioned and comfortable. The house was very clean and modern. Everything worked well. The garden surrounding the house is beautiful and makes the house very private. The pictures don't do the house justice, it is pettier than the pictures. We saw countless birds, geckos, an iguana and chicken with babies all in the yard. The house is an easy walk to the Langley resort and all of its amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the house.

A Perfect Villa

Villa Coco is a charming and beautiful Creole style wooden house which is situated on lovely landscaped grounds. It is very well appointed and has a very nice sunny pool as well as an ample terrace . The many windows with their well made wooden shutters allow the breezes to pass through. We never needed air conditioning. From the terrace, you can hear the nearby surf as well as the sounds of tree frogs and birds. There is a beach within walking distance. The house is just a few minutes drive from the most beautiful beaches in Basse Terre, La Perle and Grande Anse, with their many excellent restaurants, and from the nice village of Deshais. There are good groceries very close, Super U less than 10 minutes away and a Carrefour in St Rose The proprietor ,Francis Gardon , was most helpful in helping us reach the villa and the manager Laetitia Gaudry was there to greet us. We had complete privacy and security during our stay. This was a most wonderful find and we hope to return ! Eston and Lynne Caldwell Winchester Virginia USA

Villa agréable et jardin magnifique

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à la villa Coco , elle est très bien située , la plage de l'hôtel fort royal est sympa et accessible à pied. Le jardin est un petit paradis bien entretenu. Merci à Irène pour son accueil et ses conseils cependant des points sont à revoir comme les interrupteurs qui ne correspondent pas aux bonnes pièces, le manque de pression dans la douche interieure, les fuites à la douche extérieure,les matelas ne sont pas très confortables,pas de produits d'entretien à disposition pour la piscine...Mais ces détails ne nous ont pas empêché de passer de bonnes vacances.

Très belle villa

Très belle villa avec un salon/séjour et une terrasse vraiment très agréables. La piscine est très belle et agréable bien que nous n'ayons pas eu trop le temps de nous en servir ! L'accueil d'Irène a été fait avec le sourire malgré l'heure d'arrivée très tardive et surtout non prévue (23h). Pas de bruit du voisinage.

Que dire de tout ce charme qui vous saute aux yeux Entre la gentillesse du proprio lors de la préparation de notre voyage et l'acceuil super sympa de Iréne cela vous met dans le bain avant méme d'y etre vraiment La villa est vraiment aux couleurs local et ca fait du bien rien a redire le climat en juillet et mitigé mais un peu de pluie ne fait pas de mal pour rafraichire en plus de la belle piscine On a pas tous vue et on reviendra merci M.G

La casa è accogliente, pulita e . Il quartiere poi è delizioso e molto tranquillo e 2 minuti a piedi dalla bella spiaggia. La casa dispone di ogni comodità, così come descritta nell''annuncio. Il proprietario è una persona molto simpatica e disponibile. Io e la mia famiglia (tra cui due bambini di 10 e 12 anni) siamo stati veramente bene e abbiamo trovato questa soluzione di casa vacanze eccellente per le nostre esigenze. Anna

A little private paradise

We had high expectations and they were fullfilled. This property is very neat and have high standard. The pool is great for swimming and for the kids to play in. The property really is very private and the beach nearby is nice enough. You can find also other beautiful beaches in a ray of less than 2 miles, and the drive there is fairly easy. The hostess is a very kind lady that really doesn't want to disturb his guests but always do his best to make his guests comfortable. We highly recomend staying in this villa CoCo on your visit to Corsica!

Während unseres 2-wöchige...

Während unseres 2-wöchigen Guadeloupe urlaubs Ende September 2015 genossen wir 10 Tage in dem Ferienhaus. Der atemberaubende Blick von der großzügigen Terrasse über die pool wird uns unvergesslich bleiben. Dieser blick ist wirklich nicht zu überbieten. Auch die geschmackvolle Einrichtung mit allem Komfort (Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, TV) hat uns sehr gut gefallen - Einfach zum Wohlfühlen !!! Eine herzliche Begrüßung der Vermieter machte unseren 1. Tag perfekt. Mme & M. Gisele karin waren sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht um unser Wohlergehen - auf äußerst charmanter, zurückhaltender Art. Fazit: Die Unterkunft entspricht absolut der Beschreibung des Vermieters. Aufgrund der Lage des Hauses ist ein Auto zwingend notwendig. Zu den Traumstränden von Grande Anse und La Perle sind es etwa 2 bzw. 3 min. Für uns eine Oase der Ruhe - wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder mieten. B & K.
