This was a perfect house for our big family. Very nice and cozy. The hill to the beach is steep but luckily we had our side by side to get us up and down the hill.
House is really lovely and comfortable, we (7 adults) had a wonderful stay. The view of the river is beautiful and the most intrepid in our group went down to the river's edge and said it was even more gorgeous down there.
We couldn't use the frontage for the kids to play in the water. It wasn't like the picture in the booking photo. Very disappointed in that since that was the reason I booked this cabin. The cabin itself was great and we did have a good time there. Yes, I would stay at the cabin again.
We had a great stay at this house. There was plenty of amenities and it was well stocked. The location was perfect, but the road down to the water is very steep. We were able to bring our ATV and easily navigate up and down. We would definitely stay again.
We came for the river and we’re glad to have a place with river access. The place was clean and big enough for our group. Appliances worked well and owner is fast to respond to questions. Easy check in and out.
The entire family immensely enjoyed our stay here. The Cabin was spacious, and clean, and the large decks were spacious enough for all 10 of us to eat outside. Our own private beach area on the river was wonderful. I will definitely recommend this to everyone.
This was the perfect size for our party of 9 and perfect location for our Current River float. Jocelyn was great communicating with us and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thank you for a week of amazing memories!
This property was perfect for our group! We had 4 families with kids ranging from 8mo to 10yr. The house fit us great and the amenities were above and beyond what we expected. We will definitely be staying again. The only downside of the property was the steep hill for the smaller kids.
Everything was near perfect except getting down to the water. 75-100 yards down very steep, uneven ground. A bit risky (in my opinion) for older adults and small children.
The house was perfect for our family. Very comfortable. House had all the cooking and bedding supplies needed. Tan short on paper towels and toilet paper but the response to get more was quick. The community had the water shut down a couple times but it wasn’t for long. Overall it was a wonderful trip. We would definitely stay here again.
It was a great cabin! We all enjoyed it very much! The hill to the water was brutal. I would recommend fixing that for clients or be more up front about it. It is dangerous unless you are about 11-35! The location was great and very easy to get to and close to town.
We took my son and his friends on a float trip. The house was absolutely perfect for our weekend. It was close to The Landing. We made dinner and hung out on the deck in the evening. We loved watching the floaters and boaters. The path to the river was super steep and would not work for everyone. It was a great house and we had a wonderful and memorable weekend!
This is the second time we have rented and the house is roomy and kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. The house is clean enough but there was definitely a spider problem this time. The lower deck needs some major cleaning but the upper deck is good. Needs a good bug man and probably some TLC on the outside. The neighbors are awesome and the beds are clean and comfortable!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
Disappointed with lack of communication with property owner regarding stay.
Main floor was extremely HOT (before attempting to cook, before opening the door, regardless of the temp outside) and we weren't even going in and out. (It appears several "a/c vents" have been covered up on main flooring. When asking owner for suggestions regarding a/c and optimum air flow due to door leading downstairs, as well as upper loft with vaulted ceiling. We were also wanting to not "overwork" the system if that was the best it could be. We accidentally left a personally valuable item and owner has only responded once as to say they would check with cleaning staff. It was nice staying on the river, but the steep incline makes the advantage worthless. The info in the add stated local places to rent an adequate vehicle for the incline, but they no longer do this. Owner was NOT helpful in helping us find anything else other than just don't stop there. Dissappointed. Main floor stayed above 82 degrees the entire time (night and day). No tv on main floor, splits the group. Perhaps good for families with kids. Beds have plastic sheeting. Disgusting. Mattresses are old and worn.
Wonderful stay at the Hilltop Hideway. This was our second time renting this home. The view is fantastic, the home is marvelous with plenty of room for 10 people. We enjoyed the gravel beach at the bottom of the hill on Saturday playing in the water and having a picnic. We will be coming back.
I’ve been coming to current River 45+ years, never been to south of confluence which is fabulous!! House is amazing! Beautiful beach to hang out. Only downside is the hike down the steep hill or drive. Unfortunately the neighbors paved driveway is gated and the driveway provided is dangerous, so we walked carrying all our stuff. Otherwise would stay again and again
We love this cabin. Cute and clean. Big enough for the whole family. Beautiful view of the river. Close to town and some good places to eat if you don’t feel like cooking. We will be back 😄
Super clean and everything you need for a great getaway on the river. The hill down to the river was very steep so having our UTV was super handy. We had a great time!
Great location very close to Van Buren right on the river. There is quite a hill from the house to the river. The house is located in a private association which allows you to use the deer run access to the river. We use that two of our days and it was very nice spot on the river
