Nestled in a typical cottage village, the cottage offers every season the best conditions to enjoy the space and time that passes in a preserved nature.

In the South of the Auvergne, south of the Haute-Loire, in the regional park of Monts d'Ardèche, Mézenc and Gerbier de Joncs, the cottage of Alambre is an authentic thatched cottage of the 19th century, nestled in the typical village of Moudeyres. The latitude (south of the 45th parallel) and the altitude (1175 m) allow both to enjoy a lot of sunshine and to maintain a pleasant temperature during the summer.

Combining modern comfort with traditional materials and ancestral knowledge, the cottage accommodates 4 to 5 people in an exceptionally quiet environment. Enjoying a sunny exposure, in the heart of a network of walks adapted to each season, the cottage of Alambre is an ideal place to relax in nature.
It is a 'breatando' cottage and is part of the Parc des Monts d'Ardèche brand accommodation.

The thickness of the walls ensures an excellent thermal insulation and will allow you the winter to enjoy in peace the heat of a good fire that you will light after spending the day hiking snowshoes or cross-country skiing. All rooms are of course also equipped with individual heating in addition.

In summer, you can enjoy the park (4000 m2) to relax, read or organize games safely for children. Garden lounges and a barbecue are also available.

The village of Moudeyres is particularly safe! however, if you absolutely want to park your car in a closed garage, we can offer you a location.

Une semaine en famille au calme proche des activités

Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour au calme et au frais dans ce gîte attenant à un magnifique jardin (partagé avec les autres locataires mais nous y étions souvent seuls). Moudeyres est un joli petit village - sans commerce - situé à moins de 10 minutes en voiture de villages comme Laussonne ou la station des Estables qui proposent petits marchés et commerces de qualité. Nombreux endroits et activités à découvrir dans la région dans un rayon de 30 à 45 minutes de route maximum. L'accueil, la sympathie et l'écoute que nous a réservé la propriétaire des lieux ont été très appréciables.

Des vacances réussies

En dépit d'une première semaine bien pluvieuse , nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette chaumière pittoresque autant que confortable . Le village de Moudeyres nous a enchantés par ses toits de chaume et ses belles maisons aux murs en pierres volcaniques . La propriétaire du gîte, Sandrine, nous a accueillis fort gentiment ( merci pour le petit pot de miel) et s'est inquiétée de savoir si nous ne manquions de rien. Le cadre est très beau et le parc qui entoure la maison ,fleuri et bien entretenu . Les environs, très bucoliques et apaisants, offrent autant de beaux sites naturels à découvrir que de lieux historiques ou patrimoniaux à visiter. Merci pour la documentation proposée dans la location. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le repas dégusté au restaurant du "Pré bossu" ,tout comme la gentillesse de l'accueil que nous y avons reçu. En résumé, nous aurions volontiers prolongé notre séjour et nous ne pouvons que conseiller les "Gîtes de l'Alambre" à ceux qui rêvent de calme et de beauté.

Wir hatten wunderbare Ferien in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten und sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung. Sandrine, unsere Vermieterin, war immer ansprechbar und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus und im großen Garten.

Séjour très agréable.

Propriétaire chaleureuse et accueillante. Cadre calme et agréable, grand jardin, avec barbecue, table de jardin. A améliorer : réfrigérateur correct + présence de 5 chats qui rentraient dans la location si la porte d'entrée était ouverte. Ceci dit, c'est un séjour positif.

Calme et nature dans une belle chaumière , vielles pierres, beau village pittoresque

Gîte calme et confortable dans une magnifique chaumière entourée d'un jardin très agréable proche des hauts plateaux du Mézenc. Paysage reposants et fraîcheur parfaite en été si vous fuyez la canicule. Randos et cueillettes des fruits des bois à volonté en saison. La patronne est à l'écoute, arrangeante et accueillante. Je recommande ses 4 gîtes.
