The Spruced Goose USA - Walk to the Falls

The Spruced Goose is a comfortable 3-bedroom home with an interior designed for families and close friends to enjoy.

The living room has a warm and cozy feel, the perfect place to relax after seeing the sites.

The formal dining room table sits 6 people. You’ll find complimentary coffee and tea on the dining room buffet.

The kitchen is stocked with the basics to prepare simple meals. There are snack items as soon as you arrive to take the edge off your journey and bottled water in the fridge.

All 3 bedrooms are on the third floor, each themed differently. The bathroom is located on this floor as well and stocked with plenty of towels.

There is an outside deck with table and chairs should you decide to take a meal outside or sip your morning coffee. Guests have access to the entire house and yard with the exception of the basement.

The Spruced Goose is near all the things you want to see and do while visiting Niagara Falls. From the State Park to the Gorge, from the Cave of the Winds to Fort Niagara, the Spruced Goose is at the very heart of where you want to be.

A little misleading

While the property itself was nice, the neighborhood is very sketchy. Rundown houses all around.

I’m sorry you felt that way. We’ve been hosting guests here for over 4 years. There are 8 other vacation rentals on our street and they are all booked solid. Most neighborhoods close to the falls are older and some houses are in rougher shape, the consequence of being a rust belt city. I wish you had expressed this the day you arrived.

Cute Place!

The Spruced Goose was a very comfortable place! Neighborhood was much more crowded than I thought with houses right next to each other. A little confusing at first to find but easy enough once you spotted the goose! Street parking in front only. Felt safe walking to Niagara Falls with a very well kept walking path! Comfortable beds! Just a little confusion with house instructions/wifi connection. Overall nice stay!

Not Impressed

It was great to only be a block away from the trail that leads to the falls. The first night we walked the other way through neighborhoods that show signs of the poverty and decline that covid probably influenced. Several houses right on the same block have knee high weeds for a yard and MANY "beware of dogs" and "no trespassing" signs. Definitely not a "tourist" neighborhood. The property had a comfie couch and beds. The front porch needs a MAJOR cleaning and some kind of lock on the the porch door would be nice. The older windows in house have very dirty sills... probably because they don't open. For the price, not impressive.
