Great property that is just far enough out of town to be relaxing but close enough for whatever you may need. Good base for a fishing trip with several good trout streams within an hour.

Beautiful on a creek. I would love to come back during warmer weather.It would be a fun place to bring kids. Fishing, swimming, a zip line and fire pit.

The Lazy Trout was a real treat! The location by Lolo Creek is a dream. The cabin had all that we needed for a Montana fishing trip. I loved the back porch and the "bar" by the river. It has true Montana character. We absolutely loved staying here.

It's a nice cottage. Very basic and with a charm. It makes you think and feel you are out in the wild. We really enjoyed our stay.

A very charming cabin, well equipped, and with a beautiful creek. It was wonderful sitting on the deck listening to the water. I even caught a few trout from it. My wife and I found it very comfortable and Rick (owner) was very easy and friendly to deal with. It was a great base for our time in Missoula and Bitterroot valley. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this cute little house on Lolo creek! We hung out in the bar and fished on the creek and had a blast. Unplugged in every way!! Lots of supplies and comfy beds. We would definitely come back. Didn’t zip line but would probably try it next time!!! Great stay, especially the back deck!

Excellent location with everything you need all right there. We were repeatedly surprised by how prepared the host was providing everything you could possibly think of. Never had to run into town for supplies. Absolutely stunning surroundings. Out of the way while still being close enough to town.

Refreshing Stay!

Clean, quaint, beautiful surroundings… I would absolutely recommend staying here and I plan to return myself, the river is unbeatable and so peaceful. 5 stars all around!
