Be our guest and enjoy some of the most spectacular views in all of Virginia Beach. Lounge in the pool and watch the sun set over Back Bay or enjoy exploring Back Bay with fishing and site seeing. With the beach being a block away, you can get your feet wet with surfing or snorkeling or simply relax on the beach with your favorite beverage. Little Island Park, Back Bay Wildlife Refuge & The Baja are just a few minutes away as well. This 6 bedroom home, with 11 beds will be the perfect getaway.

Whether its the energy the sun brings as it rises over Back Bay or the serene beauty as the sun sets on the horizon, you will be blown away with the views this house has to offer. Back Bay is a playground for water activities and fishing. Blocks away you will find Back Bay Wildlife Refuge for hiking & site seeing. The Beach is a stone's throw away, and around the corner is Little Island Park and The Baja Restaurant where you can enjoy your favorite spirits, cuisine and live music. With Sandbridge beach being nestled between the coast of NC and VA, it offers a far less crowded experience than the resort area of Virginia Beach. The resort area is definitely worth a short trip to check out though and with the Boardwalk only being 25 minutes away its an easy drive. This 6 bedroom home has 11 beds and sleeps 16 with expansive views of the water in each room.

The first floor has a private suite with a living room, two bedrooms, one full bath, private outdoor access, a kitchenette, featuring a sink, refrigerator, and cooking capabilities. Bedroom #1 contains a queen bed. Bedroom #2 contains two twin-over-twin bunk beds. The living room is a great place for the family to gather or a nice place to escape for some downtime.

The second floor is the main living quarters with windows throughout giving way to plenty of sunshine and an amazing view of Back Bay. It contains the main kitchen, dining room, living room, one full bath and one 1/2 bath, and 2 bedrooms. Bedroom #3 is the master suite with a queen bed. Connected to the Master bedroom is the master bath where you will find a relaxing jetted tub and double vanities. Bedroom #4 contains a queen bed with an expansive window to view the ocean just over the dunes. The living room and kitchen share an open space where multiple families can gather to share meals, watch a movie or trade stories regarding the adventures of the day! With two kitchens, families can enjoy dinner at one large dining table in the dining room or divide up between the two floors to enjoy meals. Just off the back deck, there is a screened-in porch where families can gather to watch the sun go down, enjoy a meal and perhaps battle away at their favorite card games!

The third floor contains two bedrooms with the best views in the home. The front of the home faces the ocean and the back looks over the bay. There is a full bath. Bedroom #5 has a queen bed, and bedroom #6 has a queen bed plus twin-over-twin bunk beds.

New TV’s in every room but with so many activities who needs them! Enjoy complimentary bikes to explore the Sandbridge resort area or take the kayaks out from the boat dock. If boating/fishing is your favorite pastime, this home is one of the few in Sandbridge to offer a private boat ramp! The home is a one-minute drive from Little Island Park. There you can enjoy fishing from the pier, surfing, or tennis and basketball at the nearby courts. The kids will love the large playground and picnic area. If it’s the additional exercise you seek, there is volleyball set up for everyone’s entertainment. Did we mention the pool? probably the star of the show, surrounded by palm trees and landscape lighting this pool is paradise. Soak up the sun with the bay a few feet away. It's as close to an infinity pool as you will find in our resort area. Open mid April to end of September. You won’t be disappointed in this amazing home and it’s surrounding beauty. We look forward to hosting you and your family soon!

GUEST ACCESS:
-- Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check out at 10:00 am. We love to host, so we have a high turnover rate, and our cleaners strictly adhere to this schedule to accommodate.
-- A door code will be sent to you a week before your arrival.

AMENITIES:
We provide fresh linens, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels & trash can liners. *THINK OF THESE ITEMS AS “STARTER KITS” - Highly recommend you bring additional items such as coffee/cooking spray/water bottles etc*. Roku TVs are located in most bedrooms. Portable pack and play available upon request.

KITCHEN:
Fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and all the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/Utensils

WILDLIFE and CRITTERS:
Remember that Sandbridge is in proximity to the can also make for an attractive environment for animals, pests and critters. Our home is well maintained by pest control service but there may be a chance encounter of a pesky critter or wild animal on occasion.

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES:
We ask that you leave everything in the home as you found it, strip the linens from the beds, run the dishwasher, and take trash to the bins on the street. This will ensure the quality of the home for the next guest and expedite the cleaning.

REFUNDS:
Highly recommend trip insurance. We do not give refunds due to the weather.

This is a great property and our whole family enjoyed our week there. Cleanliness was top notch and the amenities were above and beyond expectations, from the kayaks to the bikes,to all the extra supplies. We loved everything about the house and were also grateful for the owners concern and quick action when we had our few problems. A short 2 block walk to the beach and beautiful views of the back bay from the porches. We will certainly be renting this property again!

Beautiful back bay escape

We had my entire family stay here for a week, and it was absolutely perfect. There were quite a few of us, but the house is big enough so we we all had room to relax. The pool was the biggest hit as the ocean was incredibly wavy most of our trip. Great location and would definitely stay again!

We stayed here with our extended family for a week, and the place was great. It was the perfect location - close to the beach with easy access - and had tons of room for us to feel comfortable. We also loved the pool and the access to fresh water for kayaking. When we ran into a minor issue with an appliance, the host was fantastic at helping us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience - I would def stay here again.

Family weekend

We had a celebration for my sisters 40th bday and receng engagement. Many of our guests were coming from out of town, so we needed extra space. It was a nice extra venue tospend time with family and enjoy the gorgeous sunset over Back Bay. Large open spaces and tables were very accomodating. Would definitely rent this home again!

Fantastic family getaway!

We were looking for a space for our family to relax and enjoy time together. We had 10 adults, so the 5 bedrooms with queen beds (one was actually a king) worked perfectly! The dining room table seated our entire group and the kitchen was large enough to prepare some simple meals. The highlight was the amazing view of the bay! The home is older and has a unique floor plan but definitely maintained with care. We also had a preschooler, a toddler and an infant who fit nicely!

Surprise birthday

The house is lovely and worked out perfectly for our family. We were celebrating my hubbys 80th birthday. Our 3 children and their super spouses helped me plan this surprise party for him. We also had one of our 10 grandchildren attend. Location is beautiful, plenty of activities in the area for all ages, and the accommodations couldn’t be better. So glad we were able to have fun and to spend this special occasion together in this beautiful home.

From the beginning I was just impressed with the host timely responses an willingness to accommodate my guests an family to his beautiful home I asked to arrive early an there was no hesitation to comply I felt welcomed from the start every room had a wonderful view the steps to the home was challenging but there was a entrance that accommodated my 82 year old mother I could go on an on I highly recommend anyone to visit an stay you will not regret it thanks to the host again for allowing us to stay at your home

Awesome hosts!!

We just recently stayed in this beautiful property for a family vacation. Nathan was wonderful to work with. They went out of their way and comfort to accommodate some special requests that we had. The house was spotless when we got it and the grounds are beautifully kept. We had an issue with the air conditioning at night that we reached out to them and by the time I woke up in the morning they had it already fixed. We had an overall great stay in Virginia Beach. Beautiful Location

Our trip to Sandbridge was just beautiful. The house and location was ideal. The property manager was very attentive. We were able to do so many activities like biking kayaking and fishing and it was a plus because the pool was even open and ready! The House itself can use a few repairs but it was still beautiful and comfortable and so enjoyable!

Great family getaway

This property is just like the pictures! Great home, great location, owners very responsive to any questions! We had 15 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us comfortably. One suggestion would be a portable basketball hoop since the driveway is so big. The pool area is great to soak up the sun! The view is beautiful. The beach is right down the road and can be seen from the house. The outdoor shower was great to rinse off all the sand after a day at the beach. We were very happy with this home! We would happily rent again!

This house was a backbone to a perfect vacation

We vacationed here with four families and everyone had an amazing time. There was plenty of space for the whole group to hang out or if you wanted to break away for a little bit there is plenty of little nooks to escape to. Being on the bay was amazing for the kids and adults alike good kayaking and paddle boarding. The pool was clean and warm. And there is only a 2 block walk to the Beach.

Great vacation!

We loved the property. Outside space, dock, bay and pool were beautiful. Slept us all comfortably and beds were very comfortable! Ample space and well stocked kitchen. Used the outdoor grill several times to cook dinner! Only “negative” was that it was a little bit far from the beach for the two older members of our family. We ended up driving our stuff to the beach and dropping off with them, then driving car back to the house and walking back to the beach. Overall, great week!

Sea Scape Incredible views

15 of us had a great vacation at this home. The bay side pool, dock, boat launch and kyacks provided so much for all of us to do outside, it was outstanding. The ocean was a straight shot 5 min walk and was also amazing. The home layout had space for the kids to gather in addition to the great room and kitchen area. We all loved it!

Excellent property with amazing views.

I rented this property for a family gathering. The owners worked with me and we had an amazing stay. The only thing I will say is there are a lot of stairs. So you will get a workout but the views from the house are worth the workout.

Granddaughters wedding

The house was perfect for our family. We had 5 young adults who were thrilled with the pool, closeness of beach, the kayaking. It’s a lot of steps but the porches, the privacy , the stunning view and sunsets of the back bay made that all worthwhile. The downstairs apartment gave the young ones their own area to stay up later, have pool access and play games. The owners were very responsive to every question we had. Everyone took a turn in the 4 bicycles and just had a great time . We hated to leave .

Wonderful pool, fantastic view!

This was an awesome house for our family reunion. We had 7 adults and 4 kids, all aged four and under, and everyone had a blast! The view of the bay and the pool area are the highlights of this house; both are gorgeous and even better in person than the pictures online convey. The house is only a couple of blocks from the public access beach, which is really convenient. While you do have to cross a pretty busy street to get there, and there are no walkways to the beach so the sand can get HOT, it was nevertheless a fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood. The bay side is right next to some other private docks and the wildlife refuge, so you do get some kayakers/boaters, but it is generally pretty secluded and no one is loud. The sunsets are gorgeous and the frogs like to sing at dusk- very serene! The house itself is very nice, with plenty of room for a big group. There are a lot of stairs, and steep stairs to get in the front door, so that might be a consideration for folks with mobility issues, but my mom (late 60s) and our two 4 year olds managed ok. Inside, for folks with little ones, they have a jury-rigged baby gate on the stairs on the main level, so that is helpful, but we brought an extra portable one for the entrance from the pool deck to the dock area. You might also think about bringing another for the bedrooms on the top level. The house was great and we really enjoyed it overall, but I'll dock half a star (4.5 total; I wish vrbo would let me do half stars) for some of the amenities. Some of the beds weren't super comfortable, and with the amount of space, the larger ones could probably be king beds rather than queens. Also, the kitchen could use an upgrade to some decent cookware; I'd suggest a refresh of a few more pots and pans and a new set of silverware and knives. Nothing fancy needed, but some more average TJ Maxx-level basics would be good. I know our group was big on cooking all of our meals, though, so maybe not everyone would care about that, and maybe we are just exceptionally picky. :) There is also a slight musty smell to the basement, just something to be aware of for people with allergies, but not a dealbreaker. Again, overall, it was a wonderful house and we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Nathan and Jade for sharing your beautiful home with us. If you're looking for a good family reunion crash pad to relax and not do much besides lounge by the pool and go to the beach, this is the house for you!

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful, well-appointed home. Grilling by the saltwater pool, kayaking on the bay and reveling in the tranquility of a perfect sunset.
