Reunion Paradise! Spacious Luxury Home and Pool House

Enjoy our personal home with upscale furnishings from Ethan Allen and Restoration Hardware.

You'll easily separate the kids from the adults and the partiers or grandparents with layout. steam shower and an outdoor kitchen with a natural gas grill. All overlooking the pool with plenty of seating outdoors. You'll also find a few poker machines built into the bar countertop.

The home is in a very nice, upscale neighborhood on a quiet cul de sac. You'll be at ease taking a late night stroll or bike ride. inside the home, you'll find 6 bedrooms. 3 beds on th efirst level with a queen-sized beds. The rest of bedrooms are upstairs beginning with the master with a large whirlpool tub and a king size bed. Across the hall are 2 Jack and Jill bedrooms, sharing a bathroom. Each has 2 beds in them. At the end of the hall, you can close the hall off to separate this wing with the other 2 bedrooms if things are getting noisy. You'll find a private room with a queen bed and full bathroom shared by another room with 4 queen beds.

Downstairs, you'll have a spacious kitchen with a gas stove top, electric oven, microwave and coffee pot. There's an eat in kitchen that seats 8. The back porch also has a bar top table for 2 to enjoy breakfast while overlooking the pool. The living room has a sectional leather sofa by Natuzzi and a gas fireplace. In the front of the house, you'll find a quiet library with books and board games. The foyer welcomes you into the home with hardwood floors and a spiral staircase. Next to that is the dining room that seats 10.
Outside, you'll have plenty of yard space, a 50' saltwater pool with a diving board in the 8' deep end. Attached is a round, in ground, hot tub that will heat quickly when you are ready for it. 6 lounge chairs, seating for 8 at the round tables and more. The outdoor kitchen has a sink, refrigerator, buffet warmer, 2 side burners and a 36" cook top.

You'll have ample parking in the driveway, holds about 7 cars, and street parking is no problem either.

Security camera on premises. Parties will not be tolerated or permitted. No additional guests beyond what you reserved for. We have no trespassing signs, and this is private property.

No indoor Smoking, including E cigarettes/Vape. Smoking is $500 to have a company come out and rid the place of the odors and nicotine.

Load the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Please move all furniture back to where it was. Including outside furniture. Please make sure the grill has been cleaned after your last use.
Please take out all trash, have dishes cleaned and put back. If pans are burnt, you can use the scrubbing sponge and a little Bar Keepers Friend and it'll take it back to looking new.

A great home with lots of space and different places to gather. Nice Pool and hot tub. And lots of indoor and outdoor space. Host was very responsive at answering questions or coming over as needed. More instructions about dos and don’ts or ways to clean up or things to know might be helpful. There were a few areas that could have used a little bit of paint - on the bottom of the doors to the back and in the bathroom upstairs in the shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Place to Stay

The pool, hot tub, and backyard space were wonderful for relaxing and entertaining our two teenagers. The pool and hot tub were immaculate, and the pool was cleaned two times during our 5-night stay. We do a great deal of cooking while on our family vacations and the appliances were high end, well maintained, and there was an ample amount of cookware and essential cooking utensils. Multiple thermostats (even in the bedrooms) in this large space made the home very comfortable during our hot weather stay as did the large gathering and eating spaces. We feel very fortunate to have found this home for our annual family vacation.

House was spacious and covered back porch was nice and relaxing. We didn’t spend much time there because we were in town for HS Nationals. We did find it odd that most of the cabinets were locked. There were like 3-4 coffee mugs and we had 5 families with us. Neighborhood was really nice and number of bathrooms was a priority for us as well!

Great place for a family vacation!

The house had plenty of space for our group of 15 people (all ages) to comfortably spread out when needed and come together when we wanted. We had a couple of issues that the owner responded to and resolved quickly. The house was cool, the pool was warm and lots of fun! The location was quiet (only noise was from planes and jets flying overhead but that seems to be the norm for the area). Close to shopping and a very cute mini golf/water park and only about 15 minutes to either the Virginia Beach Boardwalk area or the quieter Sandbridge Beach area. Thanks to Ron for a great stay!

This home is beautiful. My family of 22 had more than enough space to enjoy ourselves during the Christmas holiday. Ron, was very attentive, lovely to work with and made his place feel like home. My only recommendation would be a good dusting before renting. Overall my family would definitely recommend this property and we will absolutely rent again.

I wish you left more insight to the review. Everything is in working order and is professionally cleaned. I ask every guest how everything looks they day of check in to see that everything is clean. You did mention the hot tub not working, it is and was, the instructions are in the kitchen on the remote panel. You also mentioned the washer and dryer issues, it's brand new, $2200, less then 30 days old. You started soap was coming out the door, that's because you added to much soap. The dryer needs the lint trap cleaned out, each time it's used. It's also connected to the internet and I can see you told the dryer it was a small load, it wasn't set to dry or very dry. It's only going to do what you tell it to do.

Great Family Getaway!

We had such a fun filled stay at this home. The house was clean overall, just had some wear-and-tear. But it didn’t affect our stay. The location was great for heading to the beach, boardwalk, and grocery stores. The star attractions were definitely the diving board, pool, and hot tub! We were having trouble managing some of these systems, however. Operating the hot tub and sauna weren’t intuitive at all. BUT the host was so responsive and helpful with every concern we had. We cannot thank you enough, Ron, for even taking time out of your day to come by and address some things. We enjoyed your home immensely!!

Nasty House!!!

I sent this message to Host, who never replied back. Good morning, Writing you was delayed, due to my trip to get cleaning solutions to clean the property. Upon arrival we were greeted by a family of flies. The only thing that looked clean were the bedding and the steam room. Which is questionable and not to be trusted. I say this because everything else like the floors, baths & toilets were left as if it was never clean prior to my arrival. How your property is advertised is completely false and not worthy of the price charged. No televisions(or non accessible)game room invades on guest in guest house which is also filthy and spider infested, accommodating pool is not filtering and jacuzzi is not only filthy but broke. It is so bad I attempted to locate other accommodations, unfortunately everything is unavailable. Thankfully this is only a short stay and I was able to get supplies to clean in order to accommodate this short stay.

Amazing family experience

Overall, the house was perfect for my family. So much space for everyone to have fun together or just be in their age groups. Bed quality was top notch and parking for a group of 30 (most flew into Norfolk) was ample. The owner was very helpful and responsive during our time there and even was willing to work with my last minute request to enter the property an hour earlier. The neighbors were nice, saying they enjoyed hearing children playing in the backyard. Even though it was not an ideal temperature for our weekend(60s and raining off and on), the jacuzzi was perfect for the family to enjoy… so much that they got so hot and ended up jumping in the pool after all. Lol. There are only a couple of things I would let another guest know. If you have children under 2 or who still need a crib or safer sleeping, please bring your portable pack in play. The beds are nice but none are against the wall, so your little one could roll off to a bad little fall. The other is to remind them to bring towels for swimming or any extras. The property provides just enough towels for one per person, no extras. So if a towel gets wet or anything, your kind of stuck. Lol. Other than that, we would definitely stay at this property again!

Reunion home far from Paradise

We throughly read the reviews to this property and noted the negative comments from almost a year ago. However, the recent reviews were positive so we were under the assumption that all issues had been addressed. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We were appreciative of an early check in. When entering the property, I immediately contacted Ron with our concerns. The pool had excessive sand at the bottom. Ron stated that the pool had been clean the day before but it was full of sand. Ron did have someone come and clean it 2 days later and the problem was fixed properly. The decor throughout the home was dated and personal. I've never been to a rental home where family pictures were on display; even in the restroom. There was even a portrait of a naked woman in the master bath. Shower curtain were mildew, curtain rods rusted, the wall Was patched in one of the shower. 90% of the cabinets are locked. The same goes for the closets. So there was no place to hang your clothing or put your belonging. The pool house was the nice. However, the shower kept backing up. shower kept backing up and there was no way to take a shower without ending up in ankle deep water. The pool house also contained the ONLY washer and dryer. The grill set up has so much potential, but it is extremely filthy. The house and pool house are both ran by nest thermostat so you are never in full control of the temperature. We had to clean up behind the cleaning company! I would not recommend this home

Great time with family but terrible property and amenities

Pool House/Pool: - Door to the fence hanging off. Struggle to open to get in and out. - hot tub worked for one day. Never completely filled up or got hot. The jets worked sporadically. - Outside seating and patio ceiling fans were extremely old and rusted. Haven’t been replaced in ages. And covered in cobwebs and spiders. Didn’t use the outside ceiling fans in the pool house due to their extremely poor condition. - The grill was absolutely disgusting!!! There was caked on oil/grease and it was clear the grill had not been cleaned in years. There was old food still caked on and in the bottom of the grill. The grill itself didn’t even work properly. One section of the grill would get warm but never enough to even grill a hotdog. The other side didn’t even light. After attempting to fix it we had to go to Walmart and get charcoal to grill on the mini grill, which was also disgusting and filled with old charcoal and cigarette butts. - The grill area its self was filthy. It had not been cleaned. The fridge was full of beer from previous guest. The range (two eyes) were dirty and was inoperable. This is not an area where I would have wanted to cook. It’s nasty and old and needs to be replaced. - The common area in the pool house was extremely hot. The thermostat was set at 83° and required a code to change the temp. After reaching out to Ron, we were told the thermostat was broken and that the two bedrooms in the pool-house have AC units that needed to be run.

The guests asked for an early check in which we were able to accommodate, free. The only communication during their stay was they didn't know how to get the sauna to work and the gas grill. Both easy explanations. Sauna was a tripped breaker, and the gas grill has a gas timer you need to turn so it can let the gas flow for up to 3 hours at a time. It is in the listing that the grill is NOT cleaned by housekeeping and there isn't a service in the area to clean grills. It is up to the guests to clean the grill after or before use. The grill is 2 years old and operates perfectly. The gate to the backyard is wood and the rain and weather effect it, it could use some love and gets adjusted every year. The hot tub works perfectly, and "sporadic" jets would be one of your guests in the hot tub turning the air on and off. It takes 15-20 minutes to get hot, it has a 400,000 BTU gas heater for a 450 gallon hot tub (which also heats the pool) We have a pool guy come twice a week and they would have seen him during their stay. If anyone ever has an issue with something not working, message the host, everything here works but when you have 25 guests in the house, people like to push buttons. I have no clue what a 2 eyes range is. We can not promise guests will leave you a refrigerator full of beer, but if there is anything left in the fridge, it's unopened but I don't believe the maids leave anything at all. The only refrigerator they do not clean or check is the outdoor fridge on the grill island. Again, housekeeping doesn't clean anything outside. The only time a code would come up on the thermostat, that they said was broken, (it's a Nest Thermostat, it isn't broken if it's telling you to enter a code) is if you are trying to change it from AC to Heat or go below the recommended temperature. Again, the guests never mentioned any of this during their stay.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT RENTING THIS PROPERTY

When we arrived on Saturday, we had no hot water in the house and all 5 garbage cans outside were overflowing with garbage. There were other undesirable conditions, but the water and garbage were the items that were unacceptable. I notified Ron the day we arrived about the garbage, and he said he’d ask a neighbor for an additional can. I explained that an animal had gotten into the cans in the back near the pool house and it was a mess, his response was, “raccoons.” We were forced to clean the disgusting, maggot infested, garbage on the ground and take all the cans out to the road just to be able to use the pool area. We could still smell the garbage from the backyard until it was picked up late Tuesday. Once we confirmed that the lack of hot water wasn’t a fluke – I notified Ron on Sunday. Ron responded saying that the tank probably needed to refill. I explained that not one person has been able to get a hot shower. Ron responded but didn’t seem to believe me – he thought it was user error in the showers. I called Ron Monday morning to emphasize that the lack of hot water was an issue. He had someone come out and it was fixed by late Monday night. For 2-1/2 days we had no hot water. I had hoped Ron would do the honorable thing and offer some sort of refund, but he didn't even broach the topic, so I requested a refund for the first 2-3 days of our stay. I recognized that he did not cause the conditions we were facing – but that didn’t eliminate his responsibility to deliver a home with hot water and livable conditions. Ron offered a $500 refund which he himself said that the amount offered would “just insult you and you’ll leave a negative review anyway.” It was insulting. Based on prior negative reviews, Ron will come up with some clever way to discredit me or my review. All I can say is, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT RENTING THIS PROPERTY.

Beth told me the cans were full, they go out Monday nights, the neighbor kid next door takes them out and is responsible for cleaning up the area of there's any trash outside the cans. The neighbor even brought an extra empty can over of their own to satisfy the guest. Beth told be at 7:43pm on a Sunday that the hot water in the house wasn't hot. There is an endless hot water tank in the pool house, giving you 2 bathrooms with showers. It's not something anyone wants to happen, I had it fixed by a personal by 5pm the next day. It would be odd to be there 2 nights prior and not mention the hot water not working, but it was just some strange occurrence that left it not lighting. The hot water heater is 5 years old with plenty of life in it and had never been an issue before. I feel that $500 was a fair gesture for a night of some of the bathrooms not having hot water, she requested $5200 or she'd leave a negative review. I'm responding accordingly to the incident.
