We'd love to have you stay again too! So glad it was a great experience for you.
Beautiful home, very comfortable. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The view of the river was great and the sunsets were beautiful.Would have been all 5 stars if not for the cleaning snafu, which I believe was an accident and not the norm.
We really enjoyed our stay. House was beautiful, clean & very cozy. Loved all the updated features and full kitchen. We loved the view of the river, it was quiet & relaxing.

This is a great location right on the Mississippi River and a short drive to Nauvoo and Keokuk for groceries and food. The home is VERY clean and has all the necessary amenities, lots of games and all the fun things. Our family LOVED staying in this home and loved visiting Nauvoo.
We loved staying on the river. The home was beautiful with fun personal touches that made it feel homey. It was so nice to have our needs anticipated and such clear instructions on how everything worked in the house. We had a great stay.

We are so glad you chose to stay here again! Thank you for thinking of our cabin for your fall trip.
This was hands down our family's favorite stay of our trip (5 or 6 different places). Plenty of sleeping space for the 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Kitchen was nice, though we didn't use it for much. Air conditioning worked great and main bed was nice. Couch beds were nice enough for the kids to not complain. Location was great for visiting nauvoo and being closer to groceries and such in Keokuk. Really nice stay overall!
Great place to stay. Comfortable places to spend time in all rooms. Great kitchen. Totally updated, in and out, great view of the Mississippi River. Had everything we needed except a coffee maker, a surprise to us, but we figured it out.

We are so glad you enjoyed the house. Thank you for your feedback. It is true that we don't have a traditional large coffee maker but we do have one that make the individual mugs of coffee on the counter (it takes the small k-cups). We will make sure to have this information in future instructions for our property.
The house is super cute and has a lovely view of the river. There are lots of games that we enjoyed playing and we loved being able to walk by the river. Lots of wildlife to see! An overall wonderful property and the owners were super nice to work with. Would highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It is 10 minutes away from Nauvoo, Carthage, and stores in Keokuk, Iowa. It’s very clean, up to date, and plenty of things to do for the kids.
The hosts are very generous, communicative, and kind. They have a great place on the river here.
Such a beautiful place!

Nauvoo is our happy place. We have put our whole hearts into remodeling this river home in Nauvoo and are grateful for all those that have helped make this house a beautiful home. We would love to share this home with others that are looking to enjoy the special town of Nauvoo and the surrounding areas. We love to spend time together as a family watching the most beautiful sunsets, seeing bald eagles, deer, otters and even turkeys in the wild. Golfing, swimming, frisbee golf, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, and enjoying our favorite nearby restaurants. We hope you love it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We saw this property online in 2018 and could not pass up the chance to own a house near one of our favorite places. The fact that it was right on the Mississippi River was a huge bonus.
What makes this property unique
This house is beautifully situated with the most magnificent views. It is 5 minutes from Keokuk, IA (right across the river) where there is shopping and lots of restaurants. There are fun places to eat right in Nauvoo, as well as fun gift shops and boutiques.
