Felt so much like home away from home, so clean and comfortable, well appointed. A woodsy, quiet property but close to downtown Langley. Beautiful views and very responsive, helpful hosts! Would definitely recommend!

Early mornings looking for birds and whales form the porch. Coming back after dinner in Langley to grand sound views. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful retreat on whidbey island! Hosts were kind and quiet. Overall a memorable trip because of this sweet little hidden gem.

Gorgeous property with everything you could possibly want or need provided! The hosts were friendly and helpful but also gave us lots of privacy. We enjoyed the deck and Adirondack chairs overlooking the water, and also enjoyed excursions into the nearby towns. Highly recommend!

What a treasure this is to behold. We loved our stay. And will come back. We hiked, painted a picture with provide watercolor supplies, enjoyed the incredible view and the friendly deer that greeted us every morning, I’ll be back next year. Beds and bedding top notch

Lovely Space with an Amazing view of the water and mountains in the distance. It was so quiet and relaxing watching the deer walk by our deck and listening to the birdsong! A perfect few days to end our busy vacation. Hosts are also very accommodating and the coffee and goodies were much appreciated!

beautiful property with views of the sound and the Olympic mountains. plenty of space for two or four, our grandchildren visited one day and walked to the beach. we were welcomed on the first day and given a tour of the amenities. couldn't ask for a more relaxing place to stay. PS very close to downtown Langly.

This was our second visit to this VRBO, and it was just as wonderful as our first. The unit is very comfortable and well equipped for one's stay. The views are spectacular and the property is very quiet, with only the sound of birds.

The hosts, Mark and Mary, are delightful! They had excellent food and activity suggestions and made us feel right at home. The view doesn't get better then this place! I could've spent my entire time there, just sitting on the deck and sipping a drink and been very happy.

Everything we needed for a two night, three days of R & R. Very clean, a charming host who lived on the property and was very helpful, beautiful view, and came with three deer that visited us every day. Very enjoyable.

Wow! This was our sixth year visiting Mark and Mary at First Light. What great hosts and what a great spot. The views, the wildlife, etc is amazing. Everything you need is provided. What a great place to chill out, relax on the deck both in the early morning and evening! The only thing about a great review is that it will be more difficult to book, lol. Thats ok, since we have already booked our next trip! Thanks Mark and Mary for everything!

We would not hesitate to return to this property again. A beautiful, very well appointed annex with everything you need to make your stay special. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Mark and Mary could not have been kinder or more welcoming. 5* all the way!
