Le Beaucet is a charming little hilltop village that offers magnificent views over the Monts de Vaucluse. Around the village, a hiking trail linking Venasque, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and Sénanque will take you to wonderful places where you can enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, which has remained truly authentic here.
LA BAUMO 1, one of our two accommodations, is located in the Saint Gens Valley, known as “La Vallée Sainte”, a protected area. Despite its peaceful setting, culture, sports and markets are not far away: Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (with the 18-hole Saumane golf course) and Carpentras are 12 km away; Avignon (historic papal city), Orange (Roman amphitheatre) and Cavaillon are 30 km away; Aix-en-Provence is 45 km away; and Marseille by the sea is 100 km away.
There is a beautiful in-ground swimming pool shared by our 4 guests (2 two-person gîtes).
“LA BAUMO 1” is a small stone house set in the heart of the Provençal countryside, sheltered by splendid cliffs on terraced land (restanques). The living area is 35 m² plus an approximately 14 m² mezzanine. Inside, you will find a living room with a bed (160×200, quality mattress), a fully equipped integrated kitchen, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. For outdoor living, there is a 40 m² terrace with an outdoor shower.
The optimal capacity is 2 people (possibly with 1 person sleeping on the mezzanine).

Located in Le Beaucet, this cottage is in a rural area and in the mountains. Cathedrale St-Siffrein and Arc Romain are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Luberon Regional Park and Mont-Ventoux Regional Natural Park. Le Jarditrain Amusement Park and Le Circuit des Fontaines are also worth visiting.
