Windmill at Waterwheel is a privately owned condo at Waterwheel Condominiums on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels. Enjoy the 5-acre riverfront expanse of lush grass under Pecan and Cypress trees. Relax in one of the four hot tubs, splash in the two pools, and play and fish in the Guadalupe River.

You'll feel secluded from the crowds nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet enjoy quick and easy access to all the hot spots. Schlitterbahn is 6 blocks down the street, Hinman Island Park and the City Tube Chute are less than a mile away, and you can drive to downtown New Braunfels, Landa Park, or Historic Gruene Historic in 5 minutes.

All the comforts of home are provided including a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances that is stocked with plenty of cookware and dishware. Washer and dryer, WiFi, and Smart TV’s are all included. The master bedroom includes a private bath with shower-tub, and the central hallway bath has a walk-in shower. The condo comfortably sleeps 6 guests in a queen bed in the master, queen bed in the guest room, and queen size sleeper sofa bed in the living room. All bed and bath linens are provided.

The condo is well stocked so you can pack light. Soaps, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap are all included as well as coffee, sugar, and creamer.

The door is equipped with a digital lock, and you receive a unique code for your stay. No need to check in anywhere, and no keys to keep up with. Arrive, let yourself in, and make yourself at home!

The condo property was not as described. It was supposed to be a quiet place for a vacation but it was far from it. I was put in a building in the front of the property on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the small swimming pool. It was also supposed to have access to the Guadalupe river nearby. Not. If there was river access I never found it. I also requested a condo on the first floor but didn’t get it either. There also sounded like a herd of cattle was in the condo above so I checked out a day early. I won’t be returning. Also the kids in the pool were noisy until late night. I think they were having fights with the foam pool noodles because it was very loud and disturbing.

I'm so sorry you were unhappy with your stay. This is a second-floor condo in a condominium complex. All of the river-front condo complexes in New Braunfels fill up during summer with happy vacationers, and the atmosphere can get quite festive. As you booked instantly through the listing, I'm not sure who you requested a first floor unit from. You do have the option to message a host before booking, and I'm happy to answer any questions. The complex sits on 5 acres of Guadalupe river-front. The access to the back acres and river access are between the C and D buildings. If you're having trouble finding your way around the complex, call me anytime, and I will help you. This unit sits in the front of the complex and overlooks the courtyard pool. The listing photos do picture the view of the pool from the balcony, and the position is described in the narrative description.
