This three-bedroom/2.5-bath pool view town home at Regency Cabanas #E2 is just steps from the Gulf, with easy access to the pristine white sands of Pensacola Beach via a dune walkover.

King in master bedroom, queen in 2nd bedroom and a full over full bunk bed in the 3rd bedroom to sleep eight. Slate and hardwood floors first living level, carpet in bedrooms. At the end of a sun-soaked day on the beach, enjoy flat screen TVs in both the living area and master bedroom, plus a DVD player. Or, spend a leisurely evening on your balcony grilling on the gas grill. Double garage on ground level with garage door , living and dining area located on 2nd living level, bedrooms are on the top level. A gated community, Regency Cabanas offers two pools.

An honest review. Pros & cons.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Regency Cabanas previously in another unit so we decided to stay again given our positive experience and very close proximity to the beach (walking distance 1-2 min) this unit in particular was dated which we overlooked because we weren’t worried about decor. The unit was clean upon arrival and the ease of picking up the keys from Paradise Beach Homes was quick and easy. After the first shower in the master bathroom we noticed that the tub was very slow to drain, meaning you are standing in ankle deep water. Two days into our stay we noticed water was leaking from the ceiling in multiple areas that had considerable water damage. We had to put pots and pans on the counters to catch the water and move all of our items out of that location. We called the rental office and they said someone would give us a call and stop by. Neither one of those happened. We called again after the leak continued and the woman said their was no record of us calling the day before. We were told that someone would be out the next morning. This also never happened. To say that I am disappointed not only with this rental unit given the price we paid and the lack of action from the rental company, is an understatement. When enjoying a vacation it is not unreasonable to think you shouldn’t have to worry about the unit being borderline dangerous. The water damage on the ceiling is noticeably a long term issue and I cannot believe this unit is still rented out. I took pictures of the water damage to show the severity of it. The proximity to the beach was honestly the only redeeming factor to this particular unit. I do not recommend booking E2 unless it is completely remodeled. I will also never booked with Paradise Beach Homes again after our experience.
