Beautiful Location, but Unclean and Insect (primarily Spider) Invested

Travel The View (Paradise Found) is a beautiful house that has stunning views of Deep Creek Lake. Unfortunately, our visit to Paradise Found was unpleasant for reasons that should not have occurred, especially for the amount of money for the rental and other fees. To be fair to the property manager, they were responsive, positive, and apologetic for the condition of the house and facilities and took action to rectify the situations that they could. The property manager ended up sending two personnel to the house and they both were professional and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. Unfortunately, by the time the items were addressed, we had completed 4 of our 6 nights at Paradise Found. 1st Issue - Spider infestation and outside deck and patio cleanliness. The entire fire pit/jacuzzi patio, main deck overlooking the lake, and front house entrance were invested with hundreds of spiders and were completely unusable until the exterminator and cleaner finished. 2nd issue - Kitchen Infestation and Cleanliness Baby roaches, dirty pots/pans and dirty cooking utensils. 3rd Issue - Multiple fixes/cleanliness needed throughout the house. 4th issue - WiFi Access We have a couple of friends that require Wifi on vacation to stay in touch with their work and so we book with this in mind. Wifi access was not available during the stay. This rental could be a one of a kind rental if the actions taken during our stay were only completed prior to our arrival.

Fun time but not without issues.

The property location was great and overall the house was nice, however there are maintenance and cleaning issues that need addressed. There are mice in the house and any food left out, bread, cookies or other thing will be visited by them. The hot tube powers kept popping the circuit breaker and the floor of the hot tub felt too hot to the touch. It needs addressed immediately, since it could be signs of electric issues. The stones on the front stoop are loose. The outdoor fire place doesn't work right. It lights by within a few seconds goes off after releasing the switch. It needs someone to fix it that knows what they are dealing with. The house also had ants, you really need to get a regular pest control program going for that house. The towel rack was broken in the family room area bathroom and when we arrived the dishes in the washing machine were dirty and the coffee maker had old coffee and filter in it when we arrived. For the price of rental, one should not expect these issues, someone is not properly checking, inspecting and monitoring the care and preparation of the house before visitor arrive.
