Family Vacation

It was a great experience for myself and my family. This was the first vacation that my autistic non verbal niece has been on. It was awesome to see her play on the beach so carefree!

Got us to the beach

Process of renting was easy. We were looking for a spot at the beach very last minute and found this. Villa was clean and updated. We had a problem with the dishwasher that was fixed the same day. Only "wish for" was for more seating in the living room. There were 4 of us and even though the unit sleeps 8, there was hardly room for 4 of us to veg out/watch tv together. Lots of great activities for the kids. Pools were great. Walk to the beach from the back buildings was a bit further than we would have liked. Overall positive experience.

Nice place for a timeshare, but research EVERYTHING first!

This is a nice timeshare resort (unfortunately they DESPERATELY want your business to buy-in)!!! We learned the hard way that you must get an EARLY start if you intend to book this property with VRBO/Homestay. Also, read the fine print (regarding ALL fees involved) and seriously consider travel insurance. Remember...they aren't the ONLY option...so choose wisely by being well informed!!

Halted by covid

Great place - great experience / until the whole family got sick. We all were diagnosed with COVID and had to cut the trip short. Hope to make it back soon!!!

Marriott’s OceanWatch 2BR Villa

Resort property is very clean & well taken care of. Many great amenities like: food/bar near several of the pools, fantastic treehouse, bocce, shuffle board, corn hole, several grills, quick elevators, close parking, etc. Checkin process required us to wait in 3 lines & was a 3 step process. This is a beautiful resort with very helpful staff members! We used their timely shuttle and beach wheel chair to assist our daughter, who was on crutches, to access the beach & oceanfront pools. Be sure to read the fine print to find out if you are renting one of their 3 oceanfront buildings or the 2 buildings located behind these which have ocean views or no view of the ocean (depending on what floor you are on) & are a 5-6 minute walk to beach access.
