The house and property were a fall delight. The view is a constant treat. The house was clean, cozy, well appointed and easy to feel at home in. The kayaks and the lake were great to have at our disposal. We didn't have great cell service so I would screen shot the check-in instructions before you leave town! Thanks for a wonderful get away.

We had a fantastic time here. We had four adults and we were all comfortable. The property was cozy and clean and we enjoyed the fire pit. Hayward was convenient and we enjoyed all of the businesses there. We hope to come back for the fishing as it was too windy this time around. We highly suggest you visit this place! Larissa was great at promptly getting back to me. The only thing I would suggest is having more napkins/paper towels/tissues on site. We had to purchase those.

Amazing cabin with everything you need. Great outdoor space to eat and relax by the fire. Plenty of space for kids to play in the grass and on a very nice road for biking or walking. 10 minutes to Hayward and 18 minutes to cable.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable cabin. Larissa was prompt in responding to questions we had. Pier is little far from cabin and water quite green, although that’s not host’s fault. Recommmend!

Comfortable accommodations in a quiet setting. Our primary objective was fishing, but we also enjoyed the screened in porch and fire pit. Initially had problems with the internet, but host was very responsive to our concerns.

Great little cabin with an excellent view. We had so much fun on Nelson Lake for a family mini vacation! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking, grilling, etc. Larisa was an amazing and very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

Our weeklong stay was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t be beat. The outdoor space was great for gathering around a fire to end a fun day. Highly recommend staying at this cozy cabin!

Adorable cabin nestled into the Northwoods, by a lake with a loon, just 5 minutes from Hayward. Fully outfitted kitchen allows for options to cook our own meals. Washer/dryer was a bonus!

This really is the perfect little cabin. As two mature women, we were looking for a quiet retreat for our 2nd annual "girls' weekend". Larissa thought of everything! The cabin is cozy, solid, clean, Northwoods decorated and had everything we needed (except a lighter that I forgot to bring for the bonfire). There were even mugs in the freezer. The rooms are a bit small, but perfect for 2-3 adults or a family.There is a nice bonfire pit with chairs, charcoal grill, picnic tables, roasting sticks (smores, hot dogs....), kayaks with life jackets for use, private dock, washer/dryer, parking spots, lake view and most kitchen utensils, cookware and dishes you would need. It is in a small bay keeping the wind down and there is minimal boat noise. There is a small beach with playground and volleyball set up for the guests/residents (not public). I would expect in the summer it could get a bit noisy/active. In the last week of September, it was quiet.Larissa was always very prompt to respond to questions, so when we arrive a bit early, she quickly responded that the cabin was ready and we could go in! The Wi-Fi and phone signals were a bit spotty, but that is normal in the "Northwoods", just be prepared. There is a local bar a short walk away and within a 10-15 minute drive you can get to town, some hiking/ski/mountain bike trails and a few other lake bars/restaurants. Beautiful area and lakes!

Cozy Cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect for our needs. We were able to dock our boat on the property and had plenty of parking for our trailer and vehicle. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. The weather was cold and rainy so we were glad the cabin had such comfortable chairs, a TV, and a well-appointed kitchen. When it got a little nicer, we sat on the porch and also made a fire in the outdoor fire pit and watched the lake. Wished it had been warm enough to kayak.
