Woodhawk Manor of Alexander Valley

Welcome to Woodhawk Manor! We have completed remodeling our home. Previous guests will be happy to find en suite bathrooms for the four main bedrooms , plus a new tub in the master bathroom. Additionally, brand new hardwood floors adorn the home with freshly painted walls and ceilings to add to the charm. As of May 2024, an outdoor kitchen is available for you at the swimming pool. The property is now gated and fenced, giving you additional exclusivity on your special getaway. We invite you to come and stay at Woodhawk Manor!

The perfect get away for families, group of friends or corporate events! This beautiful home in Alexander Valley, situated in the hills of Cloverdale on 20 bucolic acres gives you the privacy and serenity you will love. Appreciate the views of Alexander Valley from the gazebo. Lots grassy areas to throw the ball or have a picnic. All this, just five miles from downtown Cloverdale. Relax, wine taste and make yourself at home!

Breath-taking and peaceful views from the 20 acres of gorgeous property. Large open kitchen with farm table seating 12-14 people. Ideal for entertaining with stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops opening up to the outdoor living space with hot tub, pool table, TV room, 4 spacious bedrooms and a bonus room with bunk beds perfect for the kids. We have added another bathroom to create another en suite bathroom in the house. Total 4.5 bathrooms.

Our fenced in 20 x 40 swimming pool with an 8 x 8 spa provides a resort feel. We have expansive decks for your relaxation and hosting pleasure. More features to come in the next two months.

We also feature an 8 person hot tub on the deck of the house, providing you closer access in the night hours.

While we accept dogs, we do not allowed inside the pool area. We also ask guests to bring their own dog beds as we do not allow dogs on the beds or couches in the house. We perform rigorous inspections to make sure there is no damage or accident stains to floors, rugs or furniture.

Amazing stay

Wonderful Family house

Our family stayed here the weekend of my son’s wedding. The home was beautiful and accommodated our group well. Having so many bathrooms was perfect for everyone to get ready for the wedding.

Private, relaxing property

We had a lovely stay at this very private, quiet, relaxing property. The pool area was lovely and we made great use of it. The house and deck area were beautiful and comfortable. As a group, we have stayed in many properties and this is our favorite by far.

Wonderful for families and groups!

Plenty of space, beautiful views, great amenities. Great communication from Rob. We spent the long weekend hanging out on the patio, grilling, and enjoying time with family. Would stay again for sure!

Amazing house with great view

Very nice house with everything you could possibly want. Lots of room, great kitchen and the pool was especially welcoming on the record 105 degree day. Loved how clean everything was. We come down every year. Next year we will plan an extra day or two just to relax and enjoy this very private retreat

Awesome Property for a Girl’s Trip!

This property was perfect for my bachelorette trip! Plenty of room for me and my 9 friends and Rob was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Everything was labeled and organized. The property was clean and had every amenity you could want! The only thing that would have made it better was more trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. The dining area was ideal for meals together. Thanks for making my dream Bachelorette possible!

Wedding - Bridal party

This was one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed in, easily! It was spacious, well equipped, clean, and very well put together. Our bridal party stayed here and was able to be together and prepare for the wedding and relax afterwards. The best part of this experience was the host, who was super communicative, transparent, and went above and beyond to even help save the day with a transport issue. 100% would stay here again. Thank you!!!!!

Beautiful property

The property is beautiful and spacious with great views. We reached out to Rob for help with the WiFi and he said refer to the Manuel which we couldn’t find. My party unknowingly reset something trying to help the WiFi connection. This is caused a problem with the host.Rob repeatedly called and text several times to inform that he could not see what was going on and needed the security cameras back up and working. That made me feel completely uncomfortable knowing there was a intention to record my family. I feel like that’s a total invasion of privacy. It makes me question where are the cameras located? Also I did not see anything In the property listing that said you would be under 24 hr surveillance. I understand having a alarm system but to blatantly intend to record people is wrong and scary. The WiFi and cameras were fixed after we left.The house rules were strict and after booking I Was informed that each additional guest would be 250 additional dollars even if they didn’t spend the night. I’m being completely honest the property is beautiful! But the way it is ran is a invasion of privacy.

Very Nice Family Reunion Venue

My eight family members enjoyed our stay at Woodhawk very much. Working with Rob is a pleasure, as he is super responsive. The large house is well-equipped for a group, with a large well-organized kitchen and plenty of cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. Our 3 nights occurred over an extreme heat wave, so the pool was a welcome relief, even though the water was warm - the evening breeze helped. Our only concerns were that the shades for the windows near the large dining table did not function, so the sun blasted half of the table at dinner. We ate inside due to the 100 degree temperature, otherwise we would have been outside. Morning breakfasts were very nice on the deck. Also, one hallway carpet had large footprint marks on it, and one of the bedrooms with shared bath had stains on the carpet. Not exactly inviting, but also not a big deal. The electric fans in some rooms were finicky and maintaining a consistent temperature in some bedrooms was tough but we managed. The compartment that holds the pods on the dishwasher door doesn't close properly, resulting in only part of the pod being released, and a few partially cleaned dishes, even though we hand pre-rinsed them. These are more FYI comments for Rob than real complaints. Overall, we had a fun time catching up with each other and would certainly re-book.

Weekend Charity Bike Ride Getaway

Perfect house for our group. Spent time on large deck Barbecuing and socializing. Ride went nearby the property, so was able to bike directly from there. Jordan was responsive and helpful throughout the process. Planning on making it an annual trip. House has everything you need. Had beautiful weather, so was able to take a dog the nice, and warm, pool.

Wedding Perfection!!

This was the ideal house for me and my bridal party to stay out for my wedding. We were able to last minute host the rehearsal run through at the venue in its large driveway. Super conveniently located near my venue. All the instructions were helpful and Rob was a very attentive host! Will definitely be back and recommend to friends!!

Fabulous Place!

The property is absolutely beautiful. We came for a girls weekend and it was the perfect house with space for everyone, a wonderful kitchen, a beautiful outdoor area, and the grounds are impressive. We had a couple of questions and Rob was wonderful to work with and quickly responsive. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

Large and gorgeous house and property

We absolutely loved our long weekend stay. The house is so huge - lots of space indoors and out for groups to be together, and also to retreat to private rooms for rest. Rob was so accommodating to our group of 10 adults and 6 small kids. The property was very safe for the kids with lots of room to explore. The pool and spas were so enjoyable. The in-pool spa isn't built for all-day use, but we still enjoyed it and Rob helped make it work for our needs. As Sonoma County locals we don't like spots that are touristy or overpriced, and this was the perfect getaway in a quiet part of wine country, with so much value for the price.

Beautiful get-away in Alexander Valley

Overall, the house is a wonderful place to share quality time with loved ones over cooking, dining, playing games on the deck or at the big table in the dining room, swimming, and sunning. We loved it! You really feel like you're away from it all when you're there. It's a great house for a family get-away or a group of friends. The bunk-bed room off the master suite is perfect for two kids! The grounds are spacious and really lends to the feeling of getting away from it all. Neighbors are a good distance away, and you can't see them. The deck off the kitchen and main living and dining areas is perfect - large - with a grill and an amazing view westward toward the rolling hills on the westside of north Sonoma County. Sunsets were breathtaking. The pool is large with a good amount of space for lounge chairs and sunning. It's a short walk from the house - but well worth it. And, if you have a portable speaker, you can play some pool lounge music without bothering any other residents in the area. It's also in Alexander Valley, one of Sonoma Counties renowned wine regions. Beautiful, elegant cabs that tend to be lighter than Napa's. We highly recommend the house and property.
