Loved it, would rent again.

Cozy clean property that allows pets. Outdoor fire pit area was great and perfectly private. I also loved that the property had a private beach area with lounge chairs. I used the grill and had brunch on the patio table. So nice to enjoy the water from so many parts of the property. Area is quiet and a 7 min walk to Onset Center where you can grab icecream or on some weekdays there’s an even in town. Close to plazas for other needs.

Worse than you could imagine

When we arrived, there was dog pee on the floor, dog hair everywhere. Wasn’t clean, bathroom sink was dripping while using the toilet the leaking sink would splash you in the face. Black mold in the bathroom, our guests couldn’t even fit in the shower. No towels ready, activities weren’t working, flat tires, no batteries, outside fire pit/seating area was unusable. Completely disappointed, we were told absolutely no refunds. We stayed two nights and had to leave early. We had two small children with us, and it wasn’t up to standards for our family. There was black mold and my husband had a reaction and had to leave. Also disappointed with VRBO customer service. Nothing was done for us. 0/10

Advertisement is incredibly misleading. This is not a resort. It is one of three old homes. Upon check-in at 7pm our house had not been cleaned after the previous occupant. Contacted host who promptly apologized and sent us to dinner while getting it cleaned. Host offered to Venmo a small refund for the trouble. NEVER REFUNDED!! Upon returning 3 hours later at 10pm the house was not cleaned to a standard of other VRBO premier hosts. This is not a premiere host!! The 2 small bedrooms are upstairs. The "master" has no closet. The second bedroom has a tiny closet that both rooms share. There is no upstairs bathroom. The 1 bathroom is located behind a pocket door in the kitchen. The bathroom is approximately 4x6 feet with a toilet, sink, and tiny shower. There is no vanity to put any toiletries or bath products anywhere in the bathroom. The kitchen sink drained incredibly slow as if it was clogged. The home has no central air. It has 4 portable air conditioners. After 1 night we checked out at 8:30am, contacted the host notifying we checked out. He asked if there was an issue, we said it was not what we expected. We then asked about a possible 1 or 2 day refund on a 4 day reservation that we only spent 10 1/2 hours at....no response. Several days later we also asked about the refund he initially offered the first night when the house hadn't been cleaned......no response. Extremely disappointed with this VRBO rental!

Quaint Cottage

The crab house is at an awesome location. Right on the water with kayaks and paddle boats available. The house had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Manager was great responding when we needed help with the hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

Coastal escape

Loved this lil spot!! My family and I (5 people) felt cozy and comfortable in this nice little ocean side paradise of our own. Clean and well stocked with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. The check in process was confusing as I wasn’t told which (of three) cottages was assigned to me. After approaching a friendly worker, I was shown to the “crab house” cottage and was all perfect after that. I hope to come back for summer season for water activities.
