Sunny Jenness Beach View Home – Quiet Rd, Perfect for Families & Coastal Escapes

Welcome to "Summer-Salt" a Jenness Beach cottage ready for you to make family memories. Relax on the front porch with a coffee or cocktail and enjoy views of the beach directly across the street (down right-of-way.) Let the sounds of the waves at night soothe you to sleep. The home is on a quiet street east of 1A (Ocean Blvd.), safe for kids to play and cross back and forth to the beach. Renovated in 2017, this home retains the charm of yesteryear while including today's amenities such as stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, flat screen TV, etc. The cottage has 5 bedrooms, 2 sunny enclosed porches, an updated kitchen, living room, laundry room, two indoor bathrooms, and a private enclosed outdoor shower house. The house sits on a nice grassy lot with room to play.

Unlike many rental properties, we provide everything you need for your vacation other than food and wait staff! Sheets, bath towels, beach towels are all included. The barn holds beach chairs and toys for your use. Even boogie boards and a kayak! Many additional amenities including washer/dryer, dishwasher, internet, cable TV, gas grill, air-conditioned bedrooms, gas stove, oven, etc. It truly is the perfect spot for a family get-way!

Swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, whale watching, and cruises from the beach and nearby Rye Harbor. Minutes to Water Country and Odiorne State Park/Science Center. Good location but very old house and tight layout

Location is great but the house itself is extremely old and needs extensive updating. Kitchen is very small, bedrooms are small and noise carries very easily throughout house. I wouldnt stay here again.

Location, location, location - this house scores big on its location - typical beach vacation house, certainly not pristine but very serviceable . The bedrooms downstairs were eclectic and small but functional. Big pluses on not having to bring sheets and towels as well as having available beach gear to use. We had a glitch upon arrival but James was reachable and responsive. If you are not used to beach houses you may find fixtures dated and a bit of paint needed here and there but very typical for a vacation house. The clincher is the location, easy access to the beach, fun parade of people and surfers making the way to the beach. We would recommend this house.

We absolutely love 63 Old Beach Road! It is perfectly located directly across from our favorite beach, clean and comfortably appointed and includes all we need for a fun filled family vacation at the beach! James and family are wonderful hosts and we miss it already!

What a nice home in such a beautiful area! The homeowners were so gracious and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The house is so clean and equipped with everything you need. The beautiful beach is just a short walk from the front steps. We hope to rent here again .

Perfect beach family vacation

My family of 5 and my sister’s family of 4 all stayed and our families stayed here together for a week and can’t say enough great things about this house! It was extremely clean when we arrived and everything looked like it did in the pictures, even better in person. James was very responsive, before, during and after our stay however we didn’t even need to reach out during the week since everything was so well arranged prior. The beach is not more than a 2 min walk across the street and the neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The beach towels and linens were already provided which was a bonus! We had a great week and would recommend this property to anyone looking to have the quintessential beach vacation!

Great Property!

We stayed for a week and the end of July and everything was as advertised. Perfect location and the house had everything we needed for our week at the beach. Due COVID we stayed in and cooked most meals and the house was well equipped with everything we needed including a gas grill out back. Air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable and the garage out back was perfect for storing bikes and beach stuff. Great house and amazing location!! So close to the beach that running to the house to use the bathroom or grab something was easy. James the owner was very responsive and checked in before and during out stay to make sure we were all set.

Great location in a peaceful neighborhood where you can see the ocean from the house. Fully equipped house plus sand toys, beach chairs, sea kayak. Also well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and tasteful beach decor. Many rooms made it easy for family life. So sad to leave!
