Sunny 5BR w/ Saltwater Pool & 6-Seat Golf Cart Close to Beach

Tucked away on a quiet street under magnificent live oaks, this Isle of Palms gem ‘Firefly’ is a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach, marina, Wild Dunes Golf Club and other Isle of Palms attractions as well as only a 25 minute drive from historic downtown Charleston. This beautiful 2550 sq. ft. home, completely remodeled in 2013, features a total of 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, two of which are en-suite.

Through the front door you enter into a spacious living area with vaulted ceilings and light pouring in from the numerous windows and French doors. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area to create an ideal central gathering area. The kitchen features a massive marble island with gas range, prep sink, counter seating and a pantry stocked with amenities. The adjoining dining area features a large table with seating for 8. The living area also comfortably seats 8 with a 60-inch HD television with cable tv central for viewing.

The back doors of the living space open up to a saltwater pool surrounded by a large deck area completely redone and expanded in 2020 - perfect for sunbathing, barbecuing and dining al fresco. There is also direct access to the pool deck from the master suite.

A 6-seat golf cart is provided for our guests use - the most fun way to get around town! Beach towels and chairs are included as well as other basic amenities. With several restaurants, a Harris Teeter grocery store and other shops nearby, Firefly is the perfect choice for your Isle of Palms getaway!

The house was beautiful, clean, and a great open plan kitchen-dining-living room space for spending time with family. They had everything you could need in as far as kitchenware for cooking, beach supplies, games and puzzles, golf cart, etc. Having a fire pit is great amenity. Host provided a great list of things to do and places to see, rentals, etc. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the beach, grocery store, IOP connector, and IOP recreation center. Host and property manager very helpful and responsive to questions.

A beautiful house that complimented our beach getaway! The hosts communicated well before and during our trip. The golf cart was a great added convenience! The house was clean, close to the beach, and in a quiet location. We enjoyed the pool, and it was well kept up. No complaints from our family. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We had a lovely stay and appreciate having found this property. The kids were comfy in their own rooms and had a good time in the pool. We were able to gather with friends locally who live close by which made the location ideal. Short golf cart ride to the marina.

Family reunion

Excellent location for a family reunion. Beach and grocery store access made it easy for small groups to break away and enjoy time together. The seating area was great for playing games and watching football together.

Great place for a girls trip

This a great place for five long distance friends to meet up and have a relaxing weekend. The house was great for us. It’s just a few minutes from the beach and town, or 30 minutes into Charleston. It was well equipped for our five star weekend!

This was the best of many homes we have stayed at on the Isle of Palms. The location, easy beach access and home itself were all top shelf. My interactions with the owners were all very good and the home was well stocked for a family that likes to cook on vacation.
